It took me months before I actually gathered all of my courage to start watching this drama. I was NEVER a fan of historical, fantasy and romantic comedy kind of dramas, I was way more into slap & kiss dramas, but since everyone suggested this to me, I said why not? I can just drop it if it gets too boring or dragged. I'm so happy I decided to give this one a try, because honestly this has become one of my top favorite drama among all that I've watched. Everyone, if you ever get that feeling like me, thinking that this might just be a waste of time, please watch this. I know you're gonna enjoy it.
STORY
The storyline was a bit confusing for me at first. And there were so many historical scenes going on, at first I thought that it was going to be boring. But as I watched them, it made me eager, I wanted to know more, even on the history. It was a blend of romance, comedy, mystery, fantasy, I'd say it got everything a drama got to have in here. I shed tears watching this, something that an usual romantic comedy wouldn't do to you. I laughed my heart out each time the comedy part comes in. I smiled to ears watching their romantic scenes (I usually skip these kind of cheesy scenes but this drama is an exception)
ACTING/CAST
I was skeptical on both the main actor & actress at first. Bella and Pope, both never wins my heart but not even that long into the first episode, I feel in love with them. The characters, and even their chemistry. It wasn't as intense as a slap & kiss drama, and it was rather cheesy but everything was in the right amount. If you get what I mean. I really look forward to Pope and Bella acting together in the future, apart from the sequel, I hope I'll see them in a modern setting drama.
The supporting roles are as good as the main too. Each one of them carried their character so well. You're going to feel so connected to them, each character. I loved each of them, it was portrayed so well by them.
MUSIC
Each and every ost they have in this drama were so good. At first it all sounded the same to me, but as I got into a few episodes, I realized how good they were. How the lyrics and the storyline goes hand in hand. I love how soothing the music was, it made me so calm and relax.
REWATCH VALUE
Definitely! I'll start with watching the uncut versions, and I bet I'll be watching more of it soon.
PLEASE PLEASE AND PLEASE, DON'T NEGLECT THIS DRAMA. YOU DESERVES TO WATCH THIS ONE. SOMETHING LIGHT AND INTENSE AT THE SAME TIME, SOMETHING SERIOUS AND FUNNY, SOMETHING THAT MADE YOUR MOOD FLIPPED FROM A SAD ONE TO A BIG SMILE. I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE <3

HIGHLY SUGGESTED FOR MELODRAMA & FAMILY THEMED LOVERS
I was a bit skeptical with this drama when I first started. I don’t think I’ll enjoy it mainly because of the LGBTQ+ tag. But girl… I was hooked from the very first episode. Since I don’t really like watching these LGBTQ+ bed scenes, I skipped those parts and still enjoyed the rest of the dramas. So if you’re thinking to skip this one just because of the tag, please give this a try first.I love how this drama is not only about their love and sacrifices, but I love how it shows that being gay doesn’t make anyone less than others. I love how their brotherhood was portrayed between Time and Touch. I love the sexual tension between Time and Nuch. I love their chemistry in this. Time’s friendships with his police, doctor and writer friends.
It sucks knowing they had to go through all these shits just for the sake of their inheritance. Money really is the root of evil.
Touch tried hard to do his best for his family and the business. It’s sad how he didn’t get his own happy ending. It’s devastating when he said why Time couldn’t be the older brother. And everytime he said he’s tired, I feel it. Being different from everyone else and being judged is tiring. It’s so pathetic how they made him die in this…
Time gone through so much shits for the sake of making his brother and family happy. He puts others first and whenever I see him broke down, I couldn’t help but feel bad for him. He tried his best to protect Nuch, he’d do anything to for her. He plotted revenge on Touch’s death and for other bad things that was done by Chun. I love how mentally strong he is, but at the same time he’s just a young boy who had to carry all those responsibilities in his life.
Nuch is a bit passive for me here. I don’t have much to say about her, I just hope she’d stand for herself more. But that one time when she fight back Risa, I was cheering for her.
I’m satisfied how those bad guys get their well deserved ending. They all should just rot in hell, Chun especially.
OSTs are good and I love how it relates to their storyline.
The only turn off for me is the PPL advertisement. It kinda irritates me because it keeps on appearing from time to time and it’s too obvious, but well, I just skipped those too.
Overall, please don’t skip this drama. Try watching and you’ll see how you’ll love it. I don’t cry watching romance dramas, but I cried and sobbed hard for this one. Highly suggested for those who love melodramas and family themed dramas.

This is beyond my own expectation. I started watching Massaya with a mixed feelings, because I have other dramas waiting in list but somehow I felt attracted with the couple combination. So I went to watch the first episode, and I'm hooked. I'm the kind of person who'd skip the scenes which are unnecessary for me, but in this drama, I barely skipped any (only on the last two episodes because it was a bit draggy for me), but overall, I managed to watch it all completely.
I love how the time setting was. And as I don't usually like these kind of time setting, the 1950s kind of setting, I ended up loving it. It could've been because of the story line, which suited best with this time setting.
However, I'd have to say that there are some unnecessary characters which made me wonder why are they even there? They're insignificant, I'd say. There are too many couples, and honestly, when I was watching there was a scene where Nop handed his hankerchief to Pan, I had the slightest hope there's going to be another love line between two of them (which I'm glad there's none)
The main characters, both Massaya and Lak are just too adorable, but I wished he'd man up even more. There are some parts when I felt like Massaya was the guy in the relationship where she was a strong and fierce girl, and managed to handle the problems alone. Lak on the other hand, only managed to run away from the problem, and it was all because of the grandma.
Don't even make me start with the grandma, and Lak's mother. The grandma should really learnt from her past mistake, how Massaya's parents had to struggle when she go against their marriage. But she still have the feeling that she's so highly and mighty that she could order EVERYONE to do as what she wants. Even her own granddaughter. Pfft. Lak's mother... Sometimes I wish she'd just stand up for her son, instead of trying to separate the couple. But instead, she keeps on following Grandma's order, while sacrificing her own son's happiness.
Overall it was a fun ride. I almost cried along with Massaya, especially when she started quivering her lips as she tried to hold her tears *feels* And I'm so happy in the end they managed to stay together, despite everything they had to endure.
I might not want to rewatch this so much, but I'd love to see this couple in another drama. The combo is so great, but I want something more intense between them, more of a slap and kiss? (LOL)
