I was looking forward to this drama because of Kim Hyun Joong. I liked him in the other dramas I've seen him in and as this was his comeback after leaving the military, I wanted to see it. I was impressed with his acting...actually, IMHO, all the actors/actresses did a great job in this. There is emotional range, cute scenes, sweet scenes, upsetting scenes...and everyone, in my opinion did a great job carrying all that.

The story is interesting and there are actually several stories told throughout the course of the show. Each one is compelling in it's own way and they all seem to connect to the building where the female lead is the landlord.

For me, the problem came in the last episode. There were some choices made with the plot that were, for me, extremely anger inducing and they were resolved in a vague/weird way or for some characters, not at all. It was truly frustrating...especially when it had been set up so well to have a great ending. But it derailed onto some very strange rabbit trail that did go along with the story in a way, but still felt very strange. It left me very much with a feeling of "What just happened?"

So, it's not that I don't recommend the show because up to that last episode it is a rather unique drama. It's not fast paced so don't expect it to be so, however it's only 12 episodes too, so it's not as long as a regular drama. Just be prepared for that last episode...it's...well...it's something.
