I must confess I was kinda taken aback by the original but a bit weird mixture of drama, documentary and concert. I think the drama part was the best by far, the actors did a good job and the script was nice. On the other hand, though, a coupla points of the documentary left me with some mixed feelings, and I just didn't like (sorry, but music is something extremely personal!) the concert part - I really think it would have been much better to stick to Chopin, also out of respect for Akiko's own preferences.
