When I read the synopsis of Legendary Witch, it reminded me a bit of Harmony (movie). And to some extent it was a drama-adaptation of the film. Except that Legendary Witch is hell makjang. The show has a melodramatic start and by some ridiculous fate the four prison cellmates end up being related to each other in some way or the other. The characters, especially, the negative characters are hell exaggerated (but then what is makjang without exaggerations? lol). So plot-wise it is very predictable and annoying even. But at the same time, there are some really funny incidences and pairings that make you want to come back for just a bit more. My personal favorites were Young Ok, and that halapati who kept trying to date her. God I loved Young Ok. She was hilarious throughout and her song is totally stuck in my mind. Gen-Gen-Gen-Gentleman-ida XD I liked Pung Geum and the driver dude. They were so cool and I loved their ending. The main couple was a little stiff at times. I don't really like their acting but their scenes together were sweet. I liked the OST. Overall it's not the best drama out there but in terms of makjang it's pretty average and watchable and Young Ok definitely makes it more worth it.
