Three episodes in and still, I don't understand. I'm not quite sure I have the patience to muddle through this when there are other interesting dramas to watch. All I learned is that every single person in this has issues, especially the two leads. And the constant conflict makes me doubt if the two can pull off a convincing romance in just 15 episodes. But despite my grumbling and complaints, I finished it. And ohh boy, it might be a misplaced melodrama disguised as a romcom yet I was fascinated. I think the fact that it was outright discussing the topic of depression and mental disorders that made me want to stay. Because South Korea doesnt seem to acknowledge it, being a country with an astonishing high rate of suicide victims. Kudos to the writer. I can see why Mr.Arrogant (Kim Jaewon) picked this up, Seo Jae hee is definitely a role that will suit him. It's unfortunate that he experienced a serious accident and was unable to continue. Yoon shi yoon, despite being the replacement actor, certainly pulled off the arrogant swagger well enough. Acting out Flat Out Broke characters seems to be his specialty so the other character's reaction towards his unexpected wealth are believable. Seo Jae Hee is a different kind of jerk from the cheerful Enrique and the innocent Tak Goo, so I was able to gradually distinguish them once the character's back story was cemented. The characters' friction from the get go truly made me wonder why they didn't make this into a melodrama. They all get into each other's nerves. The music have some good ones like B2ST's Dreaming that is quite the sexy backing track for Seo Jae hee and that song that plays whenever something happens that made Officer Cha sad and hurt. Rewatched value? Do I want to feel this frustration again? Who knows. It's 50/50. Overall, my opinion still stands. They're not flowers but weeds! If you're looking for a feel good romcom drama, turn back and watch Yoon Shi Yoon's other drama Flower Boy Next Door instead.
