Mother of Lackluster Endings

First time writing a review, pardon the lack of technicalities. This drama was a classic case of starting strong and ending flat. What began as a promising heart-thumping case of all rounder ML chasing all-rounder FL, went into far too complex technical details of the behind-the-scenes going ons of a video game development to a Government backed advertisement of the ideal Chinese married couple values (no hate to either, it's just my perception of what the drama was looking like from episodes 25-30).
The FL starts out strong, independent, head set straight, and the drama eventually makes her a tea-serving obedient idyllic faithful woman sidekick of the successful ML.
As mentioned in some comments, one could totally skip episodes 10 to 20 and start from episode 21 and you wouldn't really have missed a thing. First time a drama gave me such a strong sense of watching a filler instead of a drama.
Not to blame the FL's wooden acceptances of some really passionate kisses by the ML (it's probably how the director wanted her to portray the kisses - demurely as if she was being devoured or something), but it honestly didn't do justice to the ML as the entire sorry attempt seemed uncomfortable and forced onto the FL.
The entirety of this drama could have been condensed into 10 episodes of 1 hour each and still done justice to the storyline. Poor re-watch value. Perhaps the movie would serve for a more fulfilling watch.
