Seems like the story is written by chatgpt
As we all know AI can't make something creatively original, it picks up different things mashes them together and gives out "art" whether it's pictures or writings. This drama feels like that. It's just a mashup of other popular fantasy dramas and even then it suffers from many plot holes. Add to this the laughably bad acting of the male lead in comedic scenes.This drama has everything;
Bad story
Plot holes
Bad casting
Bad acting
Cringy comedy
The only good things about this drama are the music and the visual production.
It would've been a bit better if they had made the demon character a little more serious because Song Kang is good at play serious roles.

A Good Day To Be a Dog

Good but too long and sometimes very boring
The overall story, acting, music are all good but the drama feels to be missing something. Sometimes it becomes too slow and other times it becomes too fast.The thing that annoys me the most is how the "villain" did not get any repercussions for his stupidity and generations of torture to the FL's family. Is there no higher supernatural being watching over how these other supernaturals are behaving?
It would've been a much better drama if it was short, maybe 5 - 6 hours mini drama or a movie.
It would've been a re-watch worthy drama if it was a wholesome story of two people falling in live and helping each other get over their curse/trauma without including the revenge plot of the supernatural being and the past life connections.

Had Potential But Too Many Convenient Coincidences
This had potential to be a really good and different type of kdrama. Sci-fi, romance, and mystery could've really worked together if there weren't too many convenient chances of characters just meeting up or things happening out of nowhere and without proper explanations/reasoning.There isn't much explanation of why the "aliens" left that device to ML at least not in the first 3 episodes . Don't they have rules in their own world? What if someone asks for their device when they get home? And why does the device works for other people too when it was originally given to the ML. I know I'm reaching out here but the writers should know that you can't just introduce sci-fi stuff without any proper explanations.
Too many convenient coincidences for the killer took me out of this story. The story idea is good, romance part is also good but these coincidences and plot armors were too much for me to keep watching it.
