First of all, when you are watching this drama prepare for heartbreaks. Now that's out of the way, I have to say this is my favourite Kimura role to date (and I'm the type to pick a good romcom over any melos). Kimura and Eri as Ryo and Yuko have chemistry that absolutely sizzles onscreen and unlike any other romance you will find in most jdramas. But more than their chemistry, the supporting casts also does a great job rounding out each of their characters. You will find that this is not just a drama written in black and white, everyone is more than they seem and no one walks out innocent and unscattered. The drama starts off puzzling and slow but picks up and positively explodes toward the end.

I rated the re-watch value quite low because this is still a mystery drama so once you know the big revelation, the impact won't be quite the same as the first time but there are plenty of compelling scenes that makes up for it.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend it to any Kimura fans who haven't seen this yet, as well as anyone looking for a compelling story about love, betrayal and redemption.

It's really hard for me to try and not write 10 paragraphs about this show. There's something about Yiyi - pretty but forgettable, smart but unexceptional, endearing but flawed Yiyi - that makes her so easy to relate to, to root for. Not just Yiyi, but every character in the show feels so organic, so real. They all have their worries, dreams, ambitions and selfishness. There's no grand sweeping gestures or all powerful movers - and that's ok, since Yiyi is not weak at all.

This is not a drama with big misunderstandings or big build-ups. It's mostly mundane things like workplace woes, or petty fights between friends. But it's through these mundane things that the show can help you learn how to handle relationship between coworkers, friends and lovers. As Yiyi was learning how to navigate through her life, I was learning alongside with her.

There's a type of food called comfort food, easy to digest and never lets you down. To me, Go Yiyi Go is like a comfort food perfect for a rainy day.

Honestly, Dororo felt like fan-service carried over from Orange Days (hey look, Eita!). Storywise... there really wasn't much... For the most part we just follow our hero slaying monsters by day and acting emo by night. The CGI is also horrible and felt cheap to look at. But if you could look past the horrible CGI (and it took me two tries + immense love for both Satoshi and Kou) then what you will have is just pure zanny action fun.

The highlight for me was definitely seeing Satoshi and Kou working together again and this time having Kou running after him.

Overall probably best watched with a group of friends to laugh at the horrible special effects together, and remember to chuck your brain out the door first.

This is my first non-action Jet Li film and I was pleasantly surprised. Despite watching numerous Jet Li action flicks prior to this, it was easy to wash away prior expectations and fall into steps with the Wong family.

Autism is still very much misunderstood in China, and this film offered a realistic perspective of what Dafu and his father has to go through.

The premise of the film is easily a tearjerker, but I'm glad the film didn't try to pull any weight to get there. Subtle and silent giving of Sam, and Dafu's willingness to try and learn allowed my emotions to come willingly and naturally. Watching Sam's love for Dafu also helped me to appreciate my own father more.

Overall definitely watch to see a different Jet Li.

Funny, snarky and interesting. It's nice to see Wallace take on a 'loser' type role. Tang Lang is a shameless, mischievous and sometimes smug detective. But he's really smart, so he is able to solve case after case while getting embroiled deeper into the heart of the show's mystery.

Storywise, it's pretty average for a mystery show. They tried to build too much suspense in certain areas, and too many twist and turns that it gets a bit tiring and even predictable after a while. What elevates the show is definitely the characters. There's lots of bantering, snarks and all the characters seems to have a sense of humor. This makes the show really breezy and easy to marathon through.

One thing that really bothered me was the voice-over of one of the character, Xie Tian Hong. I thought the voice-over did not match the character at all so it was a bit off putting whenever he spoke.

Overall solid story, entertaining characters. Rewatchable for the laughs.
