An emotional rollercoaster and a twisty romance(I cried too much x)
Unlike most dramas that bring on a few tears, Queen of Tears had me raining every single episode. I've already started rewatching it with my friend because it's just THAT good.
Soo-hyun and Ji-won's chemistry really had me weak in the knees, and I'd seriously love to see them in more dramas together. The twists (towards the end which really shocked me) in this drama make it different from other romance dramas that usually follow the kind of same plot.
The villains part in this drama was too good because every second they were on screen my blood would boil, especially Sung-hoon's role. He did a great job playing his role. I just knew from the start that Eun-sung (Sung-hoon) had ill intentions getting closer with Hae-in (Ji-won) but holy cow he really is a certified maniac. Towards the end when Eun-sung was shot dead I felt relief and somewhat guilty because he did all this just to get with Hae-in which... he didn't do it the right way but.. maybe death was what he deserved. He absolutely nailed that role especially in the scene where he tried to manipulate Hae-in after her surgery, it made me furious god I can't describe. It's a love-hate thing with Eun-sung's role to be honest, but I mostly hate it haha.
The part when Seul-hee FINALLY got caught for the 20 years she spent fooling the family, I couldn't be happier. (She was extremely annoying and manipulative. How did the family not kick her out earlier? Seriously)
IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A TWISTY, SAD ROMANCE DRAMA, Queen of Tears is the one! I wasn't sure about it at first because the beginning seemed lighthearted, but this drama was truly an emotional rollercoaster for me and my tiny heart. 3
This is my first review by the way!! :3
