Childhood to Adult
There were spots or scenarios where the writers could have been more creative with this version of Friends to Lovers. The major surprise midway with the FL and her previous boyfriend was done well because I would never want my daughter to stay with someone who stayed with me primarily out of guilt or pity even though he seemed to think he loved her. They could have dove into more on why young adults make choices based on their parent's dreams instead of theirs. All characters did well especially the mothers. They are so funny as long-time friends and when they fight you will take sides because it's so believable. The ML and FL are absolutely perfect from the standpoint of chemistry, fit, and how they slowly acknowledge their love for each other that had been there for a long time but avoided or didn't understand their feelings. Love this drama!Cet avis était-il utile?
Although I Am Not a Hero

What a Surprise.
I was pleasantly surprised by this drama. Unique and well played even though sometimes complex to follow. The ending was interesting but i won't spoil it for others. Overall, give the drama time if you watching the early episodes. It's kind-of strange so give it some time, you won't be disappointed.Cet avis était-il utile?
Female Special Police Officer

Lead is Terrible...
I honestly don't know what the Chinese think sometime when they make movies supposedly with powerful females. This is terrible! The main female lead didn't know how to fight at all because she lost every single fight. The co-lead female that can hack and fight was the star, not the lead character. Why they decided to make it this way, i just don't get it so from this perspective the movie was a major dissappointment. As a matter of fact, the females were often left in a bad situation during fights so this is a bad detection of what you would want in a femail driven action movie.Cet avis était-il utile?
Lead Actress
Everything she is involved with is of the highest quality in entertainment. Han Hyo Joo is absolutely one of the best International stars working today. Her selection of Drama or Movies from the very beginning has been stellar since 2011, Always (https://mydramalist.com/1814-always).Blood Free, her latest drama is head above the rest regarding quality of production, and I can't believe the interesting stories she continues to select. This has never really been addressed on screen this way, replacing organ parts and engineered meat, not the Impossible Burger (LOL). I won't give away any part of the drama because it's too good to spoil. If you intend to watch, don't quit after the 1st episode because they do an excellent job of character overview so half of this episode is kind of slow, but important. Make sure to watch this on the weekend because you won't turn off your TV once you get halfway through the first episode. Think about it, what actress has this many top movies and dramas to their resume just in the last 10 years?
Highlights:
4.5 rating (don't give 5s so this is the highest: for example, Crash Landing is 4.5 for me)
- Blood Free (⭐⭐⭐⭐🌗)
- Moving (⭐⭐⭐⭐🌗)
- Happiness (⭐⭐⭐⭐🌗)
- W (⭐⭐⭐⭐🌗)
4.0 rating
- Pirates (⭐⭐⭐⭐)
- Love and Lies (⭐⭐⭐⭐)
The 4 dramas at the top are must-see if you like top-notch entertainment. If you want to see an American TV show that i thought should have had 2 seasons but for some reason got cancelled after 1 season. Trust me, American television usually "sucks" but this was high quality (Title: Treadstone - A Jason Bourn association). It was to complex for American television and Han Hyo Joo had main role. She was fantastic as a Korean spy similar to Moving but instead of guns, she was a fighter.

Sweet Concept
I know this has been done a few times but I thought the actress here is one of the best and it doesn't matter Japanese, Korean or Chinese. I thought the sleeping with him while drunk was bad writing but I guess she thought she loved the other guy but how could she have loved him if she couldn't show any real emotions around him so that made no sense. Also, the young man sticking around to be humiliated was a little too much but actually setup okay. It was a weird drama from the aspects of how could a women who graduated from two of the best universities in the world not have a clue. Like I said before, this is a beautiful women in all aspects including her acting, looks, facial expressions and she is not overly skinny like the Korean and Chinese actresses. It's a shame she got married to some loser and stopped making dramas for a while during the marriage. Why do women do this in their prime? Run off 5-7 years of good work then do whatever you want because the momentum of your career might not come back.Cet avis était-il utile?
BIG Surprise...
I was pleasantly surprised by this drama. Excellent all around, especially Kim Hye Yoon. For someone who has done limited lead roles, what an actress. She has it all:
- Acting = 9
- Appeal = 10
- Role = Character was perfect for her (so the casting director gets 5 stars)
I am not even sure if the casting directors in the KWood world analyze character fit before placing someone in a role because I have seen numerous miscasts since I started watching KDRAMAs 14 years ago. Anyone could have played the male role but Byeon Woo Seok was good. FL knocked it out of the park and kept you glued to the drama wishing the episodes would come faster. I am seriously going to save Kim Hye Yoon on all my Korean entertainment sites so I can make sure to watch her future projects. This young woman is going to be a great actress!

Great Drama
Better than anything on right now including Park Min Young new drama. But, are Korean men really that passive or is this just bad writing? Who would turn down a women that beautiful and he already like her in the first place. Just because he wasn’t the first one to admit or within some sort of pace. WTF?? I like both leads and I love the show but that outcome is stupid. Is this to drag the not being together on and on to cover more episodes. I love Korean dramas but the one thing they are not very creative about is a couple being together more than one or two episodes. Why not be creative with couple growing together instead of waiting until the last episode. They either do this or create unnecessary love triangles. Think outside the box writers and do something different.Cet avis était-il utile?
