Best!

If you check my profile for Penthouse, you will see that I gave a low rating for the previous episode. In that review, I said how I was really looking forward to this episode. It was exceeded my expectation; it is the best episode of Penthouse 1 and 2 so far easily. I really don't want to ruin it for anyone but the plot twist(s) was/were immaculate. I already have a lot of theories but I'll save those for discussion in both Discord servers and MDL.

Meh

The only reason why I decided to write this review is because this episode disappointed me. The others were 10/10 though. I usually watch with friends so I think the main reason I didn't enjoy this one as much was because I didn't watch with friends (online). I just feel like there was less action and plotting this time. It was really shallow and didn't require too much thinking. There were too many repeated scenes. I get that they want to emphasize a point, but this episode really made me hit the "skip 10 seconds" button--which I never do for any of the Penthouse episodes. Episode 4, however, was amazing. I know that's supposed to go into another episode review, but it won't hurt if I placed it here. Overall, 6.5/10 but it's okay though because I have high expectations for the next episodes!

Feeling good~

I'm feeling good today, so this is my second episode review of the day and third overall. Spoiler and Prediction Alert! Predictions: Han Seo is probably gay. I can feel the sexual tension between the two. Either that or they weren't actually friends back in middle school, though I highly doubt that the writes of the story would do that to complicate the story. Spoilers:I got so pissed when Hyo Joo went to the office to ask Song-Ah where Jae-Shin was. It was shown near the end and it pissed me off so much. I actually am rooting for Jae-Shin to fall in love with Song-Ah because I'm lowkey more interested in the side romances more than the leads' romance. Song-Ah just seems like a girl who is rich and desperate for love and attention from the guy she likes and because of that, she often does things out of the "elegant" character. I REALLY like her. Another thing that pissed me off is when they made out in public when they could have done that in the tent. Finally, I just want to say that the side characters are SO entertaining.

This episode was a blur.

Spoiler Alert! So of course there was sexual tension between the two main characters since the beginning but I did not expect them to go from semi-enemies to kissing, sleeping together, getting married and having a kid together in one frickin' episode. Also, Z-O looked so happy as soon as he found out that Gu Reum was pregnant; the wholesomeness of it literally made me smile through the entire episode. There's also a lot of miscommunication between the leads this episode, which could lead to problems in the future.

I accidentally reviewed an ep (first-timer), so please check out my full one. MDL won't delete it.

The cast was great. I came for Lee Jae Wook, but the rest of the cast really stole my heart. I think the rest of the cast really fits their role in the drama. The plot and storyline were good but predicable as well. It had a really good beginning and rising action but I dropped it since I really had no motivation and the drama gave me no motivation to finish it. I watched it as it aired and I waited for almost every episode to come out with subtitles until episode 13. This can be dismissible as I also was watching 4 other web dramas and dramas at the same time. If I finished it, it would probably be just for the sake of marking it as "completed."
