Watch if you just want to see pretty faces.
Keeping it short. It is a mess. Total mess. Over complicated the script so much that it just stopped being entertaining. Around halfway point I was merely watching to finish the series. I wanted to like it especially because I really enjoyed watching lee min ho and kim go eun; and it had a big budget. But just fell short in all aspects when it comes to story and character development. All the jumping around in the story just ended up giving me a headache in the end. I really wanted to like this series, in the first 5 episodes i was still looking forward every week for new episodes, but it flatlined so much and so quickly that i saw myself wanting to watch something else instead as new episodes were released.Cet avis était-il utile?

Ballet, angels, forbidden love, sacrifices and a damn wicked OST. The writers really didnt want to leave much out. And the acting by both leads 👌, Especially Shin hye sun. Her acting chops just keeps improving. After watching her in hymn of death with Lee jong suk, had to give this series a try and am so glad I did. Became an instant fan. Yep, will be following her career and supporting her acting growth. Fighting! First time watching Kim myung soo. Not usually a huge fan of kpop singers dabbing in acting as most just gives a mediocre performance but he did pretty good. All I can say is when you mix in a well written script, well picked casts that delivers in performances, beautiful cinematography carrying out the scenes and then ties it all up with an amazing OST - you just stumbled upon a Gem. Only slight criticism is I wished they could have oomphed the ballet pieces a bit more. Would have added a dash of excitement to the series.
Conclusion: Human - Angel forbidden love. Then struggle, struggle and then struggle some more to overcome adversity, all while still making sure the story and the plot stays interesting and at point. Give this series a watch. Go!!

Cheesy but still enjoyed it
First off, loved the OST. Sometimes i think the soundtrack saved the series from tanking. It's not a bad series. It's light. No complicated plots. Was a breezy watch. Just...really cheesy and too predictable. But hey, cheesiness doesn't kill a show. All it does is makes me respond "really?!?, really?? alright. Meh. Whatever" quite often. I would have like to see a bit more character development with the supporting casts, just to add a bit more depth to the story and plots. But it's meant to be a light watch so I took it as exactly so.Cet avis était-il utile?
