I just watched this movie in my local theater. I had no expectations. I only went so that I could see Lee Jin Wook's yumminess on a gigantic screen but I was pleasantly surprised. The movie is long, 2 hours and 7 minutes, but I didn't get bored with it. Han Hyo Joo was excellent in the role and you felt the pain she went through as she struggled with her unusual relationship. Although Jin Wook was only on screen for a few minutes, each Woo Jin before and after him played their part well. The changes felt seamless, though some you hated to see them go (Oh Ri On!!!).

Definitely catch it in theaters if you can., if only for all the handsome and pretty Woo Jins on the screen...

I was having a rough Sunday and I suddenly got the idea to get out of the house and see a film. I found out this was playing so I went. This movie completely turned my day around! It starts out making you laugh and doesn't stop until the credits roll. The chemistry between the three is great and they worked well together. It doesn't hurt that you get to see Kang Ha Neul and Kim Woo Bin for 90 minutes straight.

If you are looking for pure laughs and great acting from a young cast, definitely check this one out.

This drama explores multiple aspects of marriage, to cheating, to divorce, in a way that helps you see both sides of each couple and allows you to understand their feelings. It explains well the consequences of each action, and how others could be affected, even sheds some light on the complicity of getting a divorce in Korea. And even though it is such a heavy subject, there's plenty of laughs and love.

I find it annoying that 16-20 episode dramas are always one or two episodes too long, unnecessarily stretching out the story just to fill space. However since there's only twelve episodes, not a moment is wasted here. Song Ji Hyo and velvet voiced, Lee Seon Gyun are amazing as the leads, portraying every emotion of a struggling couple from start to finish, but what's great about this drama is that even the side stories are just as interesting. I honestly loved the PD Ahn and Writer Kwon couple most. Lee Sang Yeob played PD Ahn so well you couldn't help but find him adorable and fall in love too.

I just had the privilege of watching this movie at the cinema and I'm glad I did. I wanted to see it for Gong Yoo of course but I was definitely not disappointed. A film critic described the movie as Bourne Identity on steroids and it was entirely true. Packed with plenty of fight scenes and car chases, you're on the edge of your seat the entire time. Gong Yoo was awesome in this role and I hope to see him in more action roles in the future. Go see it if it comes to your city!

Setting aside my orange colored bias for this review....

I've been in a drama slump for more than a year now, dropping more than I've completed. I started watching out of support for my leadernim, but didn't have high hopes. I was pleasantly surprised as the characters and the actors' portrayals kept me interested through all 18 episodes (though the extension was definitely not needed).

Set with the premise of Park Do Kyung (Eric) being able to see his future (or past?), it may have seemed unrealistic on paper, but the writing and direction were well done in that it added to the story of his falling in love. The side characters definitely helped the drama with well developed subplots of their own, adding humor to otherwise serious scenes.

My only disappointment would be with the cause of Do Kyung's visions not being fully explained. I admit it lost a bit of steam after Ep 14, but not enough for me to skip as I normally do when I feel a drama stretching itself. It recovers nicely however and you continue to root for everyone, including the second leads.

Growing up with a common name (There were 6 other people with my same name in high school), I get it. Oh Hae Young's reactions towards the so called prettier one were natural. I was also happy to see both Hae Young's perspectives of each other by the end.

I recommend this drama for the acting, Eric's expressive eyes, the laughs, the kisses, and the love.

Ji Chang Wook....I think I've fallen for you!

I've watched that guy in Warrior Baek Dong Soo and Empress Ki and he just oozes charisma so I was anticipating Healer just for him. The show started off rocky, the music was annoying at first and Park Min Young's acting in City Hunter left a bit of a bad taste, but I decided to keep going if only for Chang Wook in his all black get ups flying across rooftops.

I'm so happy that I continued because by episode 4, I couldn't get enough! The music got better, Min Young's acting has improved greatly and the supporting cast was so good that you wouldn't have noticed her flaws anyway. This reminds me more of Gaksital than City Hunter in that the lead is more of an antihero being forced into his role but embracing it nonetheless. The push and pull between the good and bad guys was perfect and the story was well written though there was a plot hole or two.

Overall, the stylish cinematography, the cast, the writing, and Chang Wook's smile will make you forget what flaws this drama has and keep you entertained until the end.

I definitely recommend this drama!

Joo Won and Park Ki Woong prove in this drama that they should be part of the actors' elite. Their chemistry and their portrayal of their characters are what make "Gaksital" so great. No other actors could have played these roles and gotten the same result.

The storyline is intriguing and controversial and I feel the script tells the story in a manner that allows us to sympathize and understand what the people of Joseon went through under Imperial rule.

I'd recommend it and I'd definitely watch it over again. I think I'm spoiled now and will expect all actors and dramas to live up to the caliber of "Gaksital"

The Hong Sisters are very hit or miss for me. There have been some dramas I've loved, and some that I've completely hated. They tend to use the same structure and plot points, some that seriously annoy me. Although there were some parts where I wanted to skip, I enjoyed this drama.

Gong Hyo Jin and So Ji Sub have a chemistry that no one can deny. Even watching interviews, one can tell that through this drama, they have become close friends. Even though all of the characters were well developed and entertaining, this is what sold the drama for me. You wanted to see the two together and cheered for them.

Gong Hyo Jin is amazing, and So Ji Sub is just gorgeous. It helps that the drama had lots of eye candy as well a good story that kept me interested to the end.

It's well worth the watch.....

After a year of hit or miss dramas, I decided to take a chance on this one. An honest depiction of what it's like to debut as a singer in a world of idols, this story wasn't as light as I thought it would be going in, considering it's a high school drama. The actors, though young, completely fit each of their roles and I wanted to cheer for each of the characters. I felt their pains, I laughed with them, celebrated their victories.

I definitely recommend this!
