Life Lesson #294050

A lot of important issues were touched upon in this episode but the one that stuck out to me most was the ability to relate with the people around you. Both Geu Rae and Seok Yool learn well from each other and I think there's so much hope for their teamwork!

As an aside, here's my first 10 star rating for an episode!

I'm running out of things to say...

...really. The show is too good, for words. Sometimes, I feel like it has a tendency to drag but I can't ask for everything, can I?

Also, the fisticuffs in the end. My ABSOLUTE favourite. I could rewatch that scene over and over again - I laugh so much every time I see it!

And it keeps on getting better?

Honestly, I'm loving Jang Geu Rae too much. He's a genuine character, strict on himself and self-disciplined and a man who tries to keep his emotions to himself. Therefore, the scene where he gets teary over what his boss had said in a drunken stupor seemed to be powerful to me!

And I'm so curious as to why he chose that guy as his partner!

Anyway, I can't praise the cinematography enough. Love, love, love, love, love it!

Episode 1? Short film #1?

First of all, I must say - the intro had me hooked! Im Siwan being a badass, navigating through the maze-like streets of Jordan, what more could I need to get hooked? Siwan's good at the role - I saw a couple of people calling him 'wooden' but I didn't think so? I appreciate the restraint he shows with his emotions and the scene when he changes into the suit was pretty tear-rendering, I think! Anyway, this is the first time I'm coming across Siwan and I can't say that I'm displeased!

Kang Sora is lovely in her role - damn she killed those red lips and smoky eyes, I must say! Still otherwise, she fulfills the role just nicely so far. Kang Haneul's wonderful (as always) and I can't help but be slightly suspicious of Baekgi - what's his real motive, hmm?

The reason it almost felt like a short film (though not too short) was definitely due to the cinematography. It was slick, with character and gave off very film-like vibes. I adored it, frankly!

Also special mention must be made of my favourite bully, Yoon Jonghoon. I never thought I would have a favourite bully before but I really did like his act in Monstar and he's doing well to irk me here, too!
