A very emotive drama - fab acting!

I had no knowledge of this drama until a clip started playing on my Netflix home page. It looked intriguing, so I hopped on here to see what people were saying and decided to give it a try.

I am so glad I did! The drama is beautifully executed and manages to draw emotion from it’s audience with a combination of great acting and well-thought out stories, each offering the chance for the main characters to grow.

The relationship between the main characters is so unique. I love that we get to watch the characters smoothly transition from strangers to family.

I have only seen LJH in Signal, and when he appeared in the first episode, I almost didn’t recognise him. His character is so different to the one he portrays in Signal and so I’m glad I’ve got to see how versatile he is as an actor. I look forward to watching more of his dramas!

Overall, the characters in the drama are refreshing to watch. The relationships feel realistic and the plot manages to highlight different issues in society, beautifully unraveling the different stories of the deceased.

I recommend watching! It’s considerably shorter than most dramas, so it’s not a big commitment. My heart feels full after finishing this drama - I’m not sure how else to describe how I feel!

This isn't my usual type of drama, and I don't think I would have even watched it had I not been given a free month's trial of Netflix! But I'm glad I did!

Story:
I'm not usually keen on music themed dramas - but I guess I was feeling spontaneous! At times, for me, the story was boring. I feel like it was very repetitive and never really surprised me, or got me in the feels! I liked the idea of highlighting how being good at something doesn't mean you're passionate about it, but unfortunately as far as the story goes, it was very generic.

The characters themselves were honestly quite likeable. The main characters really did begin to get on my nerves, but I found most of the other characters to be likeable in their own way.

Acting:
I think for a majority of the actors, this was the first drama I've seen them in! I think the acting was brilliant, I felt as though they portrayed their characters well. As I mentioned before, the main character's did get on my nerves a little, but I feel as though that was their character design, and not the actors' fault. I look forward to seeing them all in different roles when I watch more of their dramas!

Music:
In terms of my personal taste, I didn't enjoy the music that much, however in terms of appropriateness, the music fit well for the drama themes and genre.

Rewatch Value:
I honestly can't see myself rewatching this drama. It was enjoyable for the most part, however it lacks plot twists and a unique story line. I don't see the point of rewatching it when I can find other dramas with a similar plot.

Despite it being a very generic story, I did find it enjoyable and did finish all the episodes! If you like music, or like the specific actors, I'd say give the first few episodes a go, and if you like them, then you like them, and if you don't well... you don't!
