Having come out only 2 episodes of captivating the king i can already tell that they are very much alike. From the male lead being the king ,being weak and the female lead coming to the palace for the purpose of avenging her family .Loving the King at the start and then be heartbroken by the same person.

so dream of splendor and and princess silver both have a female lead that has a tea shop (atleast in the start) the relationship between the ml and fl lead is impeccable along with the political conflicts in both.

the story starts in high school days and their love fully blossoms when they go to to university although in forever love they are are not childhood friends i believe they act the same was as the main couple in exclusive fairytale and both of these dramas have the same vibe and feel. i believe forever love is a great after watch if you like this drama
