Lacked Character

From the first episode, you expect that there will be character development, growth, and overall plot development just based on that first episode. What we got was Dalmi trying to rationalize her relationship with Dosan every episode. We also got Dosan crying over everything. He couldn’t speak for himself, looked for Dalmi with answers, and couldn’t take the harsh truth without acting like he was always right only to be screwed over. These were two very annoying, dramatic, and emotional characters that literally had no growth. Jipyeong was the only character that made a mistake, realized it, fixed it and caught up with reality. If one character is keeping the show together then it’s not a good show. Also, the lack of scenes between Dalmi and her sister was disappointing when that was a crucial plot point. Start Up was just a love triangle disguised in a interesting concept.
