i'm loving this show so much

i don’t know i waited so long to start this show, better late than never, I'm loving it so much that I couldn’t wait to finish it and I had to write a review (this review is about the first five episodes).

the story may not be the most original, but it will never bore you nonetheless. it never feels neither extremely slow-paced nor rushed at any point. the story takes its time to develop and the multiple subplots take the right amount of time not to distract you from the main story.
the intrigues and political aspects that we see in the first episode are basically put aside to focus on the establishing of the relationship between the main characters and it is just so well done. i am a very impatient person, so i generally don’t like when the relationship between the two main characters take too much time to evolve, but here i just enjoyed every scene of the two of them together completely.
there are a lot of dialogues that are really emotional and very interesting, concentrating on beautiful themes like fear of opening up and acceptance, in all its shades.

the cast is great. not gonna lie, sometimes the acting feels a bit off, but the performances of the two main characters are believable basically all the time, with some surprisingly nice acting scenes every now and then, from Pond in particular. but honestly, even when it is not that great, it feels great anyways because you can definitely see how much the actors worked to give the best performance possible, and the magnificent chemistry of Pond and Phuwin is enough to make you love any scene they’re in.

the characters are always coherent throughout the story, they make decisions and act following their personality, which is very well defined for every character from the very beginning. i want to praise Nueng's character in particular, because it feels very real and natural as we witness all his fears and worries, that are very relatable and well written, and the female characters are also great. Tanya is a strong and independent woman, other than a caring and supportive mother to Nueng, and Maggie is an absolutely lovely girl, always cheerful and willing to lend a helping hand to his friends, in this case Palm.

last but not least, music is very pretty. usually i don’t actually pay a lot of attention to it, but his time i couldn’t help but notice how lovely it was, and especially coherent with the scenes it is put in and exalting the feeling that we already get from the writing, so the dialogues, and the actors' performances.

i don’t recommend never let me go, i FORCE you to give it a try, it is worth it.
