What's Wrong with Secretary Kim

Lee Young Joon started off as a self absorbed manager and quickly rose to being a very capable Vice Chairman with one person by his side, his lovely and equally capable Secretary Kim Mi So. The partnership is flawless after 9 years of being together, but it was a long road to get there.
Now that Secretary Kim has decided that she needed a change, Vice Chairman Lee Young Joon is at a loss.
The story of how they ended up together goes back beyond the working relationship and adds an interesting catalyst and gives it a fated love feel.
You get to know Vice Chairman Lee Young Joon is very different from the facade he presents while hiding a devastating secret.
The lead actors work well together and shows the tender passion and love the story calls for. I know most American series go pass the kissing to an almost obscene level, but just barely lip touching and freezing in one pose doesn't convey much passion either.
The supporting cast is surprisingly great as their own love stories are revealed. They show a united front when one of them is labeled as sleeping her way to the top. Vice Chairman's sound board buddy, Directory Park offers sometimes useful advice in the midst of his own love crisis. A drunk Vice Chairman is hilarious as well as he tries to please Mi So's rocker father in later scenes.
The sounds effects added are hilarious and perfectly timed. The series overall is great and I would recommend it highly.

It's a unique story that explored the relationships and personal struggles that accompany the 4 main characters and how they conquered and overcome those struggles.
I've laughed at some of the scenes but I wished that sometimes the translations would come out faster so I can read and watch at the same time.
The 2 main characters were beautifully played by Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won. Love blooms in the most unexpected way when you've known each other from a young age and have never really looked at the friend at their side.
It's a lovely friendship that most kids nowadays don't get to have.

The tragedies surprised me and was brilliantly done and delivered.
I love Yang Zi and Deng Lun's chemistry. They are good friends in RL and it shows in their character's interactions. I am not sure if ad libs are allowed in Chinese series, as I would have a reaction to a scene where I feel the character should have said something but was not voiced. Could be the translation as it seems to change every time I watch it.
I loved the songs as well even before knowing that Yang Zi and Deng Lun sang their version of it. I can't speak Chinese so I just hum to them.
One thing I'd like to comment on are the kissing scenes. I guess they need to be tame for Chinese standards but just touching lips don't convey passion for me. Lovers should have more passion than what is considered a prolonged "hello" and "good-bye" kiss. The female characters should be able to reciprocate that passion to their male counterparts.
Need to book another few days to rewatch it again for the 4th time.

I do feel for Wu Bai's unrequited love as he is much to young to give it to someone who can't return it. I feel that another character should have been introduced towards the end to give a hint of a possible romance for him as he deserved it.
The animosity between Han Shang Yan and Wang Hao is a little much, but maybe because both character have too much pride to admit their own mistakes. It should have been solved much earlier in the series.
I've watched this series twice already but have to admit that I skipped through some of the filler scenes as I felt they were just there to make this series longer. One of my favorite series to rewatch.

The dialogue needs a little more polishing, but I can't comment too much as I am reading the translation.
For someone who is supposed to be older, the male lead seems to fall into a teenage type of lust. His secretary comes in at the most inopportune time with no regards to privacy.
