Muscles and Bad Dancing
The plot description for this drama made it seemed like any typical kdrama, but it was unexpectedly very funny! The side characters are so ridiculous. You are almost always guaranteed laugh, especially when Jae Woo appears on the screen. His fake muscles and bad dancing took me OUT!Go Back Couple is one of the few dramas where I actually liked the second lead. I mean it wasn't very hard not to like Choi Ban Do. What didn't he do wrong honestly?? He was a horrible crier, so that made it hard for me to emphasize with him. I feel like Nam Gil would've been a much better person for Jin Joo. Also, it was weird that Nam Gil was suppose to be older but he looked much younger than everyone.
This drama had such a great start, but the ending was just disappointing. Everything felt so rushed. As expected, there were too many plot holes. The couple frustrating to watch because even when they go back to the past, they still don't communicate with each other. Overall it was an okay drama. I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for an easy plot to follow and a good laugh.

Funniest Reply Series!!
I watched both reply 1997 and 1988 and wasn't sure if I was going to like this series. Let's be honest here the cast of the other two seasons was maybe better looking, but this plot was so much more funny. As soon as I saw the biscuit scene in episode 2, I was hooked. Samcheonpo truly carried this drama on his back!!! Aejung and him were such an odd but cute couple! The characters for this drama are all really likable and their problems were relatable, which I appreciated.I really liked how they didn't focus on the main love triangle all the time. It was pretty obvious that Najung was going to end up with Sseureki, since Chilbong was barely seen in the middle of the series. Poor boy, all he did was play baseball and get rejected by Najung too many times. I did think that the brother and sister kind of relationship was kind of weird, but dramas always pull that plotline.
I just wished the episodes weren't so long, especially the last one. There were many parts of the drama where the plot seemed like it was getting dragged out. It definitely did not need all 21 episodes. Overall, this drama's plot isn't overly complicated and I'd recommend it to anyone who has watched the other reply series or is looking for a good laugh!!

Another thing this drama was missing was the acting. Literally everyone EXCEPT the two main characters could act. It was so frustrating yet entertaining at the same. They gave two supporting actors the main roles, and it failed miserably. You can't look me in my eye and say that the production of this drama was good, you just can't.. The editing was so bad. It looked like they edited it iMovie or did not edit at all. Sometimes the music would be louder than what the characters were saying.. They found a xylophone sound and could NOT stop using it. Can we talk about the baby for a second? He was literally the cutest thing, but WHY did they have to edit that fake laugh track in?? Also, why was Yumi always falling?? Is she THAT weak? There wasn't an episode where she wasn't falling into someones arms.
The last two episodes were literally just the same flashbacks playing over and over again. And the ending?? Horrible, please redo it. I could've came up with a better ending scene. It was really lacking. Overall, the drama was just too predictable and typical. Despite the poor quality, it gave me many laughs. I had a fun time making fun of the bad acting.

Hands Down Best Drama of 2020
I haven’t been this excited for a drama in so long. I mean, Seo Yeji AND Kim Soohyun in one drama?? My eyes were glued to the screen. I LOVE Munyeong. In the beginning, she was definitely selfish, but I just love how dominate she was. And her outfits??? THE SERVE!! I also liked how Gangtae rejected Juri early on. They didn’t waste anytime on silly love triangle stuff!! The side characters were all so great in their own ways. Juri’s mom <333 No words just admiration and love for her.I loved how they incorporated fairy tale elements & life lessons throughout the drama. Munyeong’s last book made me cry so much since she added stories of the patients in the book. Speaking of crying, I was literally sobbing every during episode. When Sangtae said he was saving money so that he could buy Gangtae a camping car,, The story behind the Mangtae doll,, Or when the director bought the patient a new pair of shoes so he could walk out his "door".. I lost it. Tears, tears & even more tears!
This drama was great but definitely not perfect. I’m still confused about Munyeong's mom being alive because I thought her dad got rid of her body in the ocean?? but maybe his memory was wrong. I also wish Munyeong got help for her childhood trauma. Instead, they kind of made it seem like love fixed/healed everything??
Overall, I love this drama so much. I appreciate how they brought attention to mental health issues. The plot was something different and exciting. Also, the character development?? We love to see it!! I’m so so glad that everyone got their happy ending, even the patients. They really deserved it :,) I got really attached to this drama and will definitely miss seeing Seo Yeji on my screen.

This drama has one of the most basic kdrama plots. The one where a woman and a man somehow become roommates and unsurprisingly fall in love with each other, yet I loved it so much. The cast could not have been better. Everyone but especially the women were so pretty. Literally no words just heart eyes. There wasn't a character that I didn't like (well besides some of the supporting characters but they aren't important). It was just weird how everyone was suppose to be thirty, but no one besides Sang Goo looked the age that they were suppose to be. Like you really expect me to think that Se Hee was 38??? Bomi's character was really nice, but I feel like they could've gave her a different name instead of just using her own name. Also, weird side note but all the main characters had nice lips hehe. Some of the things I loved most about this drama was the friendship between Ji Ho, Soo Ji and Ho Rang, the humor and how realistic the plot was. All the girls were so supportive and understanding of each other. It made me wish that I had friends as close as them. I appreciated how they included more mature humor in this drama. I laughed a lot, especially in the beginning. Maybe it's just me but towards the end, it got less humorous. It was nice seeing a realistic plot for a change. All of the problems the characters faced were problems that most of us could have.
Now time for things I didn't like about the drama and this is where most of the spoilers in this review start. This drama was not overly complicated, but I feel like they included too many conflicts. They introduced Se Hee's ex-girlfriend so late in my opinion. Most of the conflicts weren't even fully resolved. They also included too much narration for my liking; they were basically rambling on about the same thing over and over again. Another thing I truly disliked was how Ji Ho left Se Hee and then came back and acted as if nothing happened?? I understand that she was trying to find herself or whatever, but I don't care what anyone says that is not the way to do it. The way Se Hee was just fine with her coming back bothered me too, but what can I do about it.
Overall this was a really nice drama, with an amazing cast. The last two episodes were a bit annoying but the beginning episodes make it worth the watch!

Do Bong Soon, une force de la nature

Usually I'm not a huge fan of kdramas that have such an obvious love triangle, but this one was really cute. The plot was kinda all over the place, and there were subplots left open. Despite all of its this, one thing this drama had going was its cast. I love the different characters. From Min Hyuk to secretary Gong to all the guys at Baek Tak Party. Everyone really played their role well. The one character I really didn't like was Bong Soon's mom. The definition of TOXIC. I really hated the way she treated Bong Soon and her husband. Now onto the plot..
Where do I even begin? Although it was very entertaining, I feel like they tried to add too much in the plot. They should've left certain subplots out, if they weren't going to finish them. For example, Bong Gi and Hee Ji both clearly having feelings for each other, but not ending up together. Another one that I didn't get was Bong Soon going back to being an "intern" after she worked so hard to get into the development team. I get that she was trying to save the world or whatever, but she only became a bodyguard so she could work towards being on the development planning team. It was weird how Min Hyuk's family was never brought up again after they found out who was threatening him. Towards the end, the plot became too predictable. The comedy was good, but I didn't like how they kept switching back and forth from comedy to crime. It was a bit too messy, and the plot could've been much better than it was.
Bong Soon and Min Hyuk's relationship was really cute, a bit cringey at times, but their chemistry was good. The same goes for Bong Soon and Gook Do. One more thing I would like point out is that the brand deals/advertisements were soooo obvious. Like when Bong Soon gets Gyeong Shim the shampoo as a gift and she wants to talk about how nice it smells after she was almost abducted like??? I feel like this drama had so much potential, but they tried to do too much.

I have seen so many people recommend this drama, and after watching it, I can see why. I really appreciate this plot because it wasn’t the typical lovey dovey kdrama. Instead, it focused on how society has an impact on what we believe is successful and how stressful school can be. It hit close to home and I’ll admit I was a bit too invested in this drama. The characters were really well portrayed. Some of them were so annoying that I wanted to jump through the screen and personally beat them up (especially the pyramid dad). What I loved most was how the characters developed and grown in the final episodes. When Ye Seo’s mom turned in the files to the police, I cried so much. I thought she was going to disappoint us again but she FINALLY did the right thing. In the beginning, the twins’ mom was so weak, but I was so happy when she finally stood up against her husband. His reaction to her rebellions were PURE COMEDY. Even though the coach was evil, it‘s okay because she’s hot (all fax no printer).
I cried so many times throughout this drama it’s ridiculous. I’ll quickly mention my favorite scenes that I cried to, since this review is getting long. The first one was when Soo Han and his mom were laying in bed together and she mentioned how she doesn’t know if she’s doing the right thing by making him study so much. The second scene was when the writer took Kay to go see her mom in jail. That just poured more salt on my wounds since the final episodes were already making me sad. After everything the coach did to her, the writer still managed to look after her daughter and it was just so kind. I couldn’t help it and cried HARD.
There were so many layers and twists in the plot, but everything closed off perfectly in the end. Truly, chef’s kiss.
