I loved the action sequences in the queen of spades game! I feel like the action genre is oversaturated with fight scenes that have so many cuts that you can't even see the action. The first person POV, long takes, and rehearsed stunts were really refreshing and exciting to see.

another great episode!! villagers are continuing to get creepier and creepier. i remember in one episode daigo remarked how there wasn't many young children among the villagers but the goto family had more young children. all the villagers remained silent at this remark. my guess is the goto family's children are protected from the ritual performed. but why?

i am pleasantly surprised with gannibal (2022) so far. the pacing is great, and the story continues to develop. the small town dynamic is really interesting. in this episode especially, we discover that perhaps the people of kuge village may not be as kind as we previously thought. but who do you trust? the creepy and secretive goto family where the previous policemen went missing after accusing them of cannibalism and who the townspeople are afraid to speak out against in fear the will lose their local business or the nice neighbors who welcomed you with open arms? but now those neighbors may have spray painted your house with "murderer" and giving you the cold shoulder after you disrespect one of their elders. i'm excited to figure out who the guy at the end. one thing i know for sure is that yagira yuya is a star <3

when the senior police offier said "there's an incident on your record" to daigo i thought it was going to be maybe the people he beat up...turns out his daughter was friends with a child targeting serial killer who wanted to die with her so he shot him to protect her.like he's a victim here??
