I think this is my first 'marathon' drama - 30 episodes over 2 days. :) I found the drama started off interestingly, but tapered off in the middle in terms of action. Maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention, but I thought some of the plot points went unaddressed at the end. I was hoping for more resolution with some of the characters...especially the President/Father and the evil Mother. I didn't like most of the characters. I thought they had a lot of potential, but were wasted in the end. For example, the second sister, Ja Rim, doesn't do much in the drama. I was waiting for her to support Tak Gu, or even help out her family, or side with Yoo Kyung....but nothing. :( This show has a lot of baking in it. I don't even like bread that much, but watching all the characters baking and eating made me hungry! I love that the hero works so hard. The one thing I didn't understand is that after the third timeskip (after Tak Gu has spent 2 years at the bakery) - how come he still doesn't know how to bake? Also, he just magically got along with Jin Gu, despite hating him for what he did? I don't get it. The drama was good overall. I watched it because it came with high recommendations from my sister. I did fast-forward through some scenes in the middle, so I wasn't completely happy with the pacing. But if you want a light melodrama and if you like bread, give this one a try! :D
