This is a BL and no one can change my mind
First of all I loved that we had so many gmmtv guest actors and actresses. Second of all the main characters are gay and this was a romance. They kept saying they were like brothers, but the chemistry was there. I don't care if you disagree with me, I shipped them from beggining to end. The story was very interesting since we don't get to watch thrillers often (because they are not made frequently). The acting was on point, Gun was amazing as usual. Bright and Nanon were so good as psychos, too. The special effects were very poor and terrible, so it was kind of funny to watch. But overall I really liked the show and hope they make more like these.Cet avis était-il utile?

Wish I could give a 7.8 in this website
First of all: I wanna congratulate Pond and Phuwin for this. They were STUNNING. I've never seen they look so good and act so well. Second of all: I gave it an 8 only because it wasn't a 7.5, but for me it's not an 8 either. Here's why: this show was well produced and it was beautiful to watch. The story was interesting and the main couple had me dying with their love. But there was so much unnecessary plots, like so many times they would fight, hit or abandon each other for "protection" but it would just be way better if they sticked and fought together against the bad guys. Maybe a lot of things would have been avoided. The fact that Palm had a fucking tattoo of Neung Diao's name and named the bar after him but he just went to live there alone and never contacted him even after everything was resolved... I don't know. There were some gaps here and there that got me thinking. (I'm not gonna say anything about the secondary couple, I'll just say I don't like Ben.) ALSO there was a plot hole about the mom because she was shot in the spine and then at the end she appears WALKING NORMALLY.Cet avis était-il utile?

Started well but they lost it a bit
First I wanna talk about how the posters made it look like it would be one hell of a kinky show and it wasn't. There was a little furry to it, but they exagerated in the posters with those bdsm accessories lol and I was a little disappointed. But that was ok, the series started very good, so much fun and I was loving the story and the characters, the cat and the dog as humans was so cute and brought a real cat and dog essence. It was a comfort series. Then the episodes started to get really sad and it started to feel like I was about to lose them (and I was), and it felt just like The Miracle of Teddy Bear. You know, I was getting used to that ideia, they actually had to leave and we can't always have happy endings in life. And then they pulled a wild card based on NOTHING and they come back. They didn't even bother to explain why they are back or how. They are just back for a happy ending with no explanation. So yeah, they are great and the plot is something else, but they forced that ending real hard.Cet avis était-il utile?

I don't think this is a romance
At first I thought this had potential. At the beggining it made me interested about Hira being a person who struggles with stammering and gets bullied for it everyday. He meets this super cool and handsome guy who doesn't give a fuck about anyone, Kiyoi. Kiyoi treats him badly, but you can see deep down he cares, so you keep liking him. Later you'll find out he liked Hira all along and they end up together. The HUGE problem with this series is the fact that Hira sees Kiyoi as a god and a master, while Kiyoi only loves being loved. Kiyoi has made very clear that he only liked Hira because he looked at him the way idol fans looked at their bias. He never had any love as a child so he wanted to be a superstar so he could have people obsessed with him, then he found Hira. Also I think it's unacceptable how he would beat or kick Hira so many times because he had zero patience with him trying to say words. Not to mention that Hira was also very problematic, he would do everything people asked him and it was very annoying, he thought of Kiyoi as a superior, a god, someone he could never really reach or disobey, which is a very fucked up thing to think towards someone close to you. At least at the end they have this talk in which Kiyoi makes it clear that he is just a human and wants to be with Hira, who finally accepts it and that he is loved. To be short: I still think Kiyoi never really loved Hira, he just loved how much love and attention he received. People who love eachother won't treat themselves with violence and will try to understand they're partners special needs.

Hard to watch but still ended up loving them
It started bad, I hated Dawan at first. Kim was nice, I felt bad for her. I was trying too hard to keep watching this and I remember starting to like it at the sixth episode, when they show us flashbacks and they were so much cuter in school times. But when it was back to the present I remembered I was dealing with a super weird and possessive relationship again. They were so bad for each other that I lowkey wanted them to be with the MEN who hit on them. They were nicer. (this is extreme for me, because I never want that)As time flew by, Dawan got a lot better and I started realizing she wasn't to blame for everything. Kim would be so passive waiting for Wan to do everything and confess her feelings as if she wasn't able to that herself. She would marry a guy she didn't love just because "Dawan didn't tell her not to". The whole time their friends were throwing all the relationship responsibility over Wan.
The whole thing with the moms were a bit weird 'cause like 10 years had passed and they still hadn't gotten over with the gay dads thing. Like, I know it was traumatic and shit, you may need a lot of time to recover but Wan's mom would literally spend 10 years of her life without even contacting her ex-husband and be drinking, crying and drowning in a tub almost everyday. Isn't that a bit too much? And it's crazy how they meet after a long time, he apologizes and she quickly forgives him and moves on. She only needed an apology, I guess... lol
At the end of the day I didn't quite like what they did to Marwin. He wasn't a bad guy, he really loved Kim and would never hurt her. They turned him into a villain, maybe because he was a man trying to "steal" a girl from another girl. But I don't think he or Pat were bad. They just were nice guys who were into girls who were lesbians. Marwin did a lot of terrible things at the end but I think it was very random in the script.

There were no cats
I was dying to see Mew in a BL again and it was kinda cute, actually. I mean he had chemistry with JM. It was not that terrible but it was kinda bad...The whole dad plot was very confusing and to be honest I wasn't interested. I liked all the main characters but Geonu's was ruined.
I watched everything till the last moment and still don't know why love is like a cat. There were only dogs. It was all about dogs actually.

It's very cute
I had just read the webtoon and I really liked it, so I went for the series. First I'm gonna do some comparison then I'm gonna talk about the story itself.I loved what they did with this adaptation because the female intern doesn't exist in the webtoon, neither does the women in power of the company. The only girl in the webtoon is Jiyeon, his friend from college, so I liked that they added more important female characters. I really missed something from the manhwa which was the fact Jiyeon had her own drama going on. When Seung Hyun was sad because of the pen, he and Jiyeon cried together because she was also suffering because of a girl. She even found herself a girlfriend later and this girlfriend was very present, so I missed her plot. I'm not sure I liked Ji Yong's acting. I get that the character was supposed to give puppy vibes and he totally got that puppy eyes, but that man smiles way too much. It's kinda creepy tbh. Overall, I really liked how it turned out and the things they added, like the art, visual effects, a reference to the webtoon itself etc.
About the story: I really liked how the drama was about their success in the company and not that cliché "boss/employee can't be together" thing. I love how quickly things went, but still in a natural way. I think their relationship was so good and I admired how Mr. Kim was already trying to change because he knew he had been a terrible partner before, so he was willing to communicate. Even when he didn't understand his partner's side, he talked. He said "I don't understand, but I want to" and I think this is beautiful. I also liked that he got him a permanent job fairly. It was cute and warm.

PAINFUL
Absolutely terrible. This made me wanna poke my eyes out.I was so excited to watch this. I was a fan of this couple in Cutie Pie and was hoping they would be SOMEWHAT similar to that in Middleman's Love. I really liked Jade in Bed Friend and I have no idea what happened to his character. He was the most annoying person on the planet and I hate to say that, because I like Yim very much. Tutor's character was nice as always, but I think this ship was ruined. I'm telling y'all, every minute of this was painful and cringy LOL I think I only watched till the end because I really love James. Everything about the show was poorly done. The script was terrible, the story didn't make sense, the side couple was very weak and I didn't like anyone but Uea. I like King but even he was annoying.

AMAZING
DeeHup hasn't let me down yet. I don't even know how I got to know about this BL's existence, but I'm glad I did. I love these stories about romance between ghost and human, so I wanted to see what it was about. This show was proof that you don't need a great budget to make a good one. It's a horror series and the visual effects weren't perfect but they were totally watchable, unlike some shows from GMMTV or other companies with money. I really loved their story and chemistry. The actors were so good and cried majestically. I think almost all of the characters were well written and interesting (I say ALMOST because there was this one character who didn't add anything to the story and was there only to be a jealous noisy boyfriend and it got me mad). The ending was a bit questionable, but I still liked it. There was also this thing that I thought was a bit inconsistent, which is the fact the Phat's mom was barely home (too convenient). But those were things that I could easily ignore so I was able to get into the suspense and enjoy their beautiful romance.Cet avis était-il utile?
Finally the real gay community
I was so excited to see the chaos this would be. I was so proud of GMMTv for the audacity. Realistic stuff always get me, it's a love-hate thing. But let's go to the character analysis.
Everyone sucks. The only character who is an actual angel is Sand.
Mew: was descent until he became Harley Twink and turned toxic as well.
Force and Boston: both can't keep it in their pants. Except Force was willing to join monogamy at the end, but Boston couldn't, that's not who he is.
Nick: did some fucked up shit and was very colorblind when it came to red flags, but he was not a bad person at the end of the day and I'm glad he teamed up with the best person in the "group".
Ray: messed up, poor little rich kid... nah 'cause Ray fucking sucked and would make a scene out of every little thing. He definitely doesn't know how to deal with anything and that could be because he doesn't got a mom and a present dad but took him too long to even want to try to be a better person. He hurt too many people. Sand was a saint for pulling up with all that shit.
Sand: I think he is flawless, but he gave too many chances to Ray, also kinda colorblind. It went well at the end, thankfully.
Chuem: I was so happy that this actress would be gay in the show. Also was so happy that she was dating Nanon's sister. But damn, she was so annoying and had no own opinion. She would just believe anyone that came up to her and said like '"your girlfriend said "blah blah"'. She wouldn't even ask or talk about it, she would just come for the person. There was also kinda of a lack of chemistry between her and April tbh.
April: is only there to be Chuem's girlfriend, barely appears.
Yo and Plug: I wish their story had more screen time, cause they meant nothing to me (which is sad 'cause I love Jennie)
Atom: bro was filthy. I tried to understand that he was very confused and fell for the first guy he hooked up with right after he found out he likes men too, I was kinda sorry for him but he fucked up still.
We can see most characters are very well written and developed. I really liked that and the fact that everything was very real, like getting out of that romantic perfect bubble. I kinda wish the couples wouldn't end up together, because that could be like a lesson about real life: some things don't work out and that's okay. I loved that Nick and Boston didn't get together in the end, Boston tried but he was unable to be monogamous, so he should just try and stop making other people's lives miserable. Overall the drama was very nice to watch, chaos is very entertaining. Seeing our beloved actors getting out of their comfort zone and playing shitty characters was an experience.

A Shoulder to Cry On
1 personnes ont trouvé cette critique utile
if every tear we dropped for them was money they'd be swimming in a diamond pool
The first episodes were so chill, like there were funny sounds and comic scenes so I completely forgot the word "cry" in the title. Before I talk about the BL itself: SHOUT OUT to Omega X boys who did a great job as actors.Ok, moving on: they were so fricking cute. Yechan's character is EVERYTHING to me. I wasn't ready for all the trauma and shit that happened to him, so I kinda felt like k*lling ms at first lol, but since I couldn't stop watching, I got over it. I mean, I didn't. But I started to appreciate the fact that there was an actual realistic story in a korean drama and I do like sad stuff at the end of the day. I just started liking that there was something serious going on and they protraited and dealt with it really well.
Honestly I recommend it because it's really good (not sure if it's a high rewatch value since that are very upsetting scenes) and Yechan is so damn fine. Also, crazy traumatized mean but sweet looks good on him. I wanna put him into a jar.

The only thing wrong with it is the fact that it's short
I loved everything about it. They went from lovers to strangers to enemies to lovers so quickly. I wish korean BLs would be longer. I love things that involve graphic design and games and it reminded me a bit of Semantic Error. The story was very different though. The boys were so freaking cute and I loved that when they had a problem it got me super sad but then it was easily solved and I was even happier. I loved them so much, the acting was on point, the chemistry was crazy and I wish I could watch more and more of them.Cet avis était-il utile?

I liked them a lot as a couple. But that's it.
I liked these two. I really did. But the story was a little too hard to watch. The thing I hated the most was that they made us watch Uea being harressed and sexually abused too many times. They would repeat those scenes to "remember" us what happened, but it was just unconfortable and sad. The writers could've left Uea alone for a second. He had too many traumas and 3 guys abused him in the show. I don't like watching this stuff repeatedly and with detail like that, it's triggering. King and Uea were great together, they had great chemistry and King was very supportive (there was this one time where he wasn't very nice with Uea insinuating he was actually hitting on their boss, but after that I would say he compensated a lot by getting him fired and putting Uea's stepfather in jail.) I loved Uea and Jade's friendship, Jade was so sweet all the time and I can't wait to watch his spinoff.Cet avis était-il utile?

This was on point
This felt a bit like sex education with time traveling. I spent the whole time angry at Alex 'cause he was incapable of understanding what he did wrong and that maybe there was no way to fix certain things. He kept insisting in regaining the trust from Jean but he assaulted her. What he did was sexual assault and it didn't matter how much he had regreted it, she was stuck with trauma. What I liked about this show was that it showed us that some things in life are irreparable or can't be forgiven. So the only way to solve the problem was going back in time after he had learnt about everything he did wrong. I think this show was very important and inclusive. It was the first time I saw a non-binary character (shout out to my girl Silvy) and there was all kind of couples! I liked almost every plot and they even managed to make me like the straight couples, because they were also different: Ciize and Sing with the kinky stuff, Mark and Best as HPV open-closed relationship and Phuwin and his abortion girlfriend! Super recommend.Cet avis était-il utile?
Loved it
This was a show that made me anxious for every sunday to come. I spent all my weeks thinking about this (this rarely happens to me). Even though I'm not a fan of Until We Meet Again I absolutely LOVE BounPrem and their characters. The way they start from just being sex partners and then can't get off of each other was beautiful and exciting. They were able to make me feel very warm with their relationship based on support, since Team had an unresolved trauma. The way Win took care of him was really sweet, knowing Team was very stubborn most of the times. I sometimes had a few problems with unnecessary drama between those two, though. The side couples are very okay. I Honestly just don't like the fact that Manow is so annoying, everytime she said or did something I was so done with her. The couple BeePrince did not sell anything to me, it felt like they had 0 chemistry. I do love that Santa was in it, he's the cutest.Cet avis était-il utile?
