high ambitions leads to great disappointments

The show relies heavily in unrealistic characters, weak relationships, a messy action-like storyline and steamy bed scenes.

There’s always too much and nothing going on at the same time. Characters lack development, leaving their actions and relationships hard to believe. The primary issue lies in the lack of explanation for characters' decisions and personality changes, leaving them feeling unreal as the plot progresses. The attempt at mystery is lately revealed to be just a poorly written script, which makes challenging to predict and understand their reactions and decisions.

The script's poor quality is evident in the abrupt shift in Babe's personality, abandoning his playboy image without sufficient justification for becoming so attached and loving to Char. This resulted in a pure wast of potential of Pavel amazing acting. Also, him accepting that Charlie stole his so precious powers is unbelievable. Babe lived for this, it was part of whom he was, not a disposable fact. His looks and his talent are both a true gaze for sore eyes, but still can’t make up for the show’s sudden sifts of scenes and lack of further information.

The lacking of development of facts and lack emotional depth is so evident that it’s even noticeable in intimate scenes. The scenes are undeniable intense (and honestly that’s were Pooh’s acting is at it’s best) but the steaminess is not sufficient to uncover the lack of explanation for their feelings, so to my eyes it seems just s*x and not love. What’s more logical to think is that there’s no affection, just attraction, where the audience must fool themselves to think the contrary.

While Pavel and Pooh do look good together, the script fails to help me support their coupling, making it look just as a relationship based on one moment feelings. Despite the amazing acting from Pavel and Nut, the series disappoints, relying on steamy scenes rather than a compelling storyline (this and actors looks is what makes this series so popular). Way and Babe's actions are so irrational and inconsistent as the rest of the show, betraying and simply destroying the characters' personalities and motivations. Overall, the show falls short of expectations, leaving me unsatisfied.

Way's forced kiss on Babe is particularly absurd and unbelievable considering his affectionate, caring and supporting personality for years portrayed until episode 9, leaving me thoroughly shocked and disappointed. It’s an attempt of a turning point that’s (again) hard to believe because the basis for this were not presented. It’s a show of throwing facts.

Being very honest, the series' high points are the steamy bed scenes and the chemistry between the leads, period. Despite admiring Pavel and Nut's talent, I find it unfortunate that their abilities are not showcased in better-scripted shows and roles. They deserve better.

ABO, mafia, human tr*f*cking, trauma, racing, family issues, playboys… A show extremely ambitious for addressing so many topics with none to zero development or explanation, leaving me lost and uninterested. It’s not that every show needs to me depth to be good, but that’s what this series attempted to do and didn’t, resulting in some insane mess.
