Like most people, I watched this after Goblin hoping for Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na to have a more fulfilling romance.

While most of the cast performed well, the lacklustre writing brought down the score considerably. There is barely any semblance of plot, and once you see a plot point that you are hoping that will be elaborated on, it just cuts off.

For example, Oh Yun Seo's stalker case abruptly ends with little confrontation. Kim Se Won got back together with Yeo Reum without much story development, it just happens abruptly. For a romcom to not handle romance properly isn't exactly something new I suppose.

This drama tried to combine action, romance, and comedy but unfortunately it was done poorly. I would not recommend watching this unless you are a fan of the cast. Yoo In Na performed extremely well and while I am also a fan of Lee Dong Wook, his one dimensional character did not bring out the best in his acting skills.

While I liked the entire show in general, the way the show handles Do Bong Soon's superhuman strength is a huge problem.

If hurting someone innocent would cause Do Bong Soon to lose her powers, I'm sure she would have lost it in the earlier episodes for breaking Mr Gong's tail bone. The way her abilities work are nothing more than a convenient plot device without much thought put behind it.

It is stated early on in the show that once the superhuman strength is lost, she will never ever get it back. Unfortunately, this drama played into the cliche of only giving the main character back her ability.

Another issue with the story is the mixture of genres that makes it a little hard to watch. One moment you are watching a thriller and the next you are watching a couple flirting. The transition between scenes could see improvement.

I love the main cast members so much. They are all ordinary people trying to make a living and thankfully not the usual high profile characters you see in dramas such as doctors, heirs, lawyers, etc.

Between the two main couples blossoms a beautiful romcom that is easy and fun for viewers to enjoy.

You follow these two couples as they struggle through their ordinary lives trying to make ends meet, pursue romance, and chasing dreams. While watching the show I found myself wanting to cheer them on.

The female lead, Oh Ri Jin, is a terribly annoying character and hard to like. It's amazing how more than one personality of Cha Do Hyun was able to stand her.

The story is a huge mess and there really isn't much reason to watch the show if not for several characters (e.g. Cha Do Hyun, Shin Se Gi). I'm surprised by how many people here have reviewed the story with a 10.

The show does have its fun and dark tones, and at times just overly absurd moments.

If you are prepared to cringe quite a lot from the female lead, go ahead and watch the show.

Overall a very fun drama to watch. It brought laughs and chills seeing Yook Dong Shik convincing himself that he is a true psychopath. I was expecting a dark thriller but the comedy aspects blended into the show really well. The story is solid and I am in love with the music. The cast was perfect and had great synergy.

You will watch Yook Dong Shik convince himself to be the owner of the diary and that he is a psychopathic killer. Seeing his internal turmoil and desire to live up to the image of his exact opposite (from pushover to predator) was a blast. While some of his psychopath shenanigans were very cringe inducing, I found myself enjoying the cringe.

The show just seems to introduce more and more misunderstandings and they are slowly resolved as you advance the story. You will laugh and you will cry. Highly recommended to watch.

I usually hate hospital dramas and the only reason I watched this show was because I saw a clip on Facebook of the prison scene where Cha Yo Han teaches Kang Shi Young how to treat a patient. The whole premise of a prison inmate as a doctor was interesting (not exactly unique) so I was extremely disappointed that they shifted over to a hospital so quickly.

If you are watching just because you want to see an inmate performing surgery on other prisoners, you won't have to watch far before dropping it. But if you stick around, the show does get interesting.

The medical portions of this drama are not overly unrealistic apart from the usual exceedingly rare medical conditions that somehow always pop up around the lead doctor.

My main gripe is how the show handles romance but I'll try to leave it spoiler-free. You will be irritated at how one of the main leads handles his love life and how unjustly the partner is treated.

Overall, one of the better medical dramas I have seen. Ji Sung's acting has improved since the Kill Me Heal Me days, or maybe it's because he only needs to act as one character this time.
