First, the plot. I can't say much without delving into spoiler territory, but it's a cliche. Does that mean it's bad? Not at all! Although it's a cliche, it's very well done and it also puts its own spin on the lives of the rich, showing us some of the less-than-desirable moments as well as the parts that people dream of.

The show itself has a way of playing with your feelings. There are a lot of lighthearted moments, as well as dashes of comedy and each character has their own underlying development arc. It also shows us a lot of different types of relationship - romantic, family, and friend - and how they all have their own ups and downs.

To add, the cast is one of my favourites. Lee Minho, Park Shinhye, Krystal Jung and Kim Woobin especially - if you like even one of them, I'd suggest this drama solely for that. The soundtrack is also one of my favourites out of any drama (second only to The DOTS). Bite My Lower Lips by eSNa remains one of my favourites from the OST of The Heirs.

So... is it a show that will play with your heartstrings? Most likely. Is it a show that will annoy you at times, or make you cringe? Yes. Is it one full of cliches? Definitely. Does all of that make it bad? Of course not! Obviously, it has it's flaws, but it's a solid show overall and I enjoyed it a lot all 4 times I watched.

I would really recommend this drama to people who enjoyed dramas like The Master's Sun, Lie to Me and Love Rain.

I’m impressed! I started watching this drama because of Joo Sang Wook and Ji Soo. I have watched several dramas with Kim Tae Hoon and this is definitely my favorite character from what he has done, super charismatic, positive, outgoing, energetic, hilarious, understanding and the list goes on... I love the two main couples! I have never liked the second couple as much as the first one, and this is definitely the case. This drama truly portrayed Joo Sang Wook ‘s amazing acting potential. I cried and suffered when he suffered and laughed when he laughed. For me, this story was a charm. My daughter went through leukemia treatments for 2 years and 3 months and I could relate with their emotions of frustration, happiness and all the complicated emotions in between. Then, what seemed like an impossible genre combination, a romantic comedy based on cancer patients, extremely funny throughout. Then after all these great elements, lots of bromance! It was just beautiful to see all the characters personalities unfold and show who they were. All the characters were amazing, and I loved that it was also about domestic violence and it reminded women that they are not alone. So I’m going to stop writing because I’m sure I can go on forever. Watch it, it’s ‘fantastic’!

MORAL of the story ... Revenge does not bring happiness or contentment!! Overall I did enjoy this ... It is an 'epic' however it's a kind of Korean 'Telenovela' (soapy) ... I thought the three MC's did a wonderful acting job as did many others of the cast & great to have a consistently strong determined FL ... the pace was relentless (that was both good & bad!) So many plots so many characters so many bad guys ... I don't know how people lived in those times tbh (especially women) Yes there was some love I enjoyed the bromance too between the King's group ... Some humour which was great It mostly wasn't boring but for me a LOT of frustration ensued I certainly enjoyed the first 30 episodes more than the last 20+ ... It did go from sublime to ridiculous ... Firstly it was waaaay too long ... too much faffing about with merchants ... counterfeit currency ... Eagle House ... Mining town (yes all part of the story) but all those scenes could easily be condensed down Secondly ... I hate my intelligence being insulted ... I'm happy to suspend disbelief for certain things of course but when for instance Yang is giving birth at the same time as Tanashilli (fake birth) even though they are MONTHS apart ... & Yang gives birth to a healthy full term baby ... Sorry that was too much for me ... Things like ... All those crates of gold (the fund) are unloaded from the Grand Councillors house in no time even though that would be impossible without anyone seeing (especially with TalTal's arrival imminent) & the weight & volume of it all ... Again nonsense! ... Transcribing all those text books by hand in one night LOL! The many many times they had chances to kill bad guys & let them go (usual plot fav) The way these dramas have the same bad guys coming back again & again & again (CDramas do it too) The plots were just never ending & too much ... We start to go around & around ... There is not enough time given to the rare happy moments for us to enjoy ... We just leap into another plot & crisis more death & sadness I could go on & on ... I hated the fact that the script writers got to the end & then just killed off most of the characters left even though they had gone through 51 episodes avoiding death & traps & plots (good guys & bad) To kill Tal Tal just on a whim for the 'story' with no good reason especially was unforgiveable!! He was my fav character & the King for that matter Didn't make sense! ... There were still people who knew the secret & the Emperor was dying so why kill Wang Yu?? Just pure jealousy that's why Using Wang Yu's love for Yang against him! He couldn't help but be vinditive He enjoyed it You could see it in his face... & don't get me started on the bad hammy acting & those stupid villains maniacal laughs ... haha OMG

I knocked off an extra star for the LUDICROUS story line that Golta the Emperor's eunuch was the leader of Eagle House! with one of his personal body guards as his assistant ... I literally laughed out loud at that ... & the fact that although they could find out anything mostly neither Yang or Wang Yu could uncover his identity & that he was the leader ... What? ... Just use spies!! ... Isn't that what they usually do? Don't insult me script writers ... & Yang didn't notice the King was ill or being poisoned Really!!? SMH

I must be the only one who didn't like the Emperor character & I don't know how she could 'love' him like she did Wang Yu ( I mean she forced the situation completely so I didn't buy the 'love' thing)... Well-acted but totally unlikeable character ... Childish selfish controlling abusive unstable paranoid ... I don't think it was 'love' It was obsession with him He latched on to the first person who showed him kindness ... No woman I know would stay with a man like that Yes at times he could be sweet loving funny BUT mostly NOT ( I know he had a hard time) but no excuses ... I liked Yang better with the King ... Handsome Stoic Honourable Kind Intelligent Loyal ... Yes he could be 'cold' perhaps but his heart was filled with all the good stuff Great expressive eyes ... I actually shipped her with the King or my lovely Tal Tal ... He would've been a good partner
So would I rewatch? NO ... (I'd rewatch Tal Tal scenes) but not the rest ... It's not the best ever for me

This is worth watching passed the first few episodes where the female lead is the standard klutz. I find portrayals of women in this vein really boring these days, however, by episode 6 she is turning things around and from then on I really enjoyed the show. It was laugh out loud funny in many places too.

BEFORE: They got married young and cracks showed quickly. The horrible mother-in-law preyed on all the female lead's insecurities adding to what seemed like obvious depression to me, caused by her own sense of unworthiness. Both Chang Min (male lead) and Jin Hee (female lead) only think of things from their own point of view and divorce.

The bones of this part of the story take place in episode one...

NOW: They then bump into each other at a mutual friend's wedding - excrutiating (you can't help feeling for her) and very funny... (the dress! He is horrified. We only realise later how sentimental she is, which is probably a big reason why she still has the dress...) She responds Korea style (what is it with these shows portraying so many Koreans as borderline alcholics?) and drinks herself into the emergency room...

OMG... what a disastrous way to arrive for your first day of work... so disastrous you have to laugh. She is an excellent actress and does not over act, allowing you to really feel for her while also either laughing out loud or smiling broadly. Can you imagine her ex's reaction when he realises his nemesis is an intern along with him? He was always so much "better" than her, now they are on a level playing field. His expression... so funny...

The story is played out via the emergency room at a teaching hospital in Seoul, there are 4 other interns (the "perfect" girl by mother-in-law's standards, a newly married couple as the main leads' mirror, and the nice guy whose love of the "perfect" girl is unrequited), a Chief resident aka The Devil (he is tough, "capable and always right"), and the Chief's ex (a general surgeon).

For all that, I really liked the complex issues that were brought in to the story, mostly around relationships and marriage, including
♡ their own youthful "failure" to re-considering their relationship now they are older and wiser,
♡ her sister's unexpected marriage and how she and her husband are, together,
♡ his parents' relationship (why did his father give up practising medicine and separate from his wife) and the growth of his mother (so much of her behaviour is about anger, frustration, control and selfishness, until she has reason to reflect)
♡ the Chief's issues/ fears with marriage and divorce because of the impact of his parents' divorce on him.

I'm sorry we saw so little of his dad and it is clear his abilities were wasted, but as time goes on we realise he quietly took care of a few things behind the scenes. I left the show with the feeling Chang Min would emulate all his father's good traits while coupled with his mother's bold, daring side. It's what Jin Hee realises she has always loved about him.

I took one star off for the clichés - using alcohol to deal with her problems and making her so incompetent initially, plus the typical awful mother-in-law (although she is the worst I've seen in shows to date... when he picks up his mother and carries her out is an excellent scene!!).

Enjoy!

Mainly I came here to watch (Jung Eun ji) to see her dramas after watching the Reply 1997 but didn't know that (Chae SEO bin) was also there..I only have seen chae SEO bin acting in positive roles this drama she played a negative role😜but she totally captivated me😍her acting here was too good..I know this dramas are very old!! Long long ago the dramas took place.. But after watching her recent dramas and then seeing her acting in a negative role really captivated me..My focuss all went from Jung Eun ji to Chae seo bin😁💖Both the actresses were good in their roles..But generally I feel Chae SEO bin (Kwan soo ah has more depth in her character than Jung Eun ji( Kang yeon do).But both were definitely good..The main actors were also totally perfect in their roles!!
Now coming to the storyline I feel this drama is something which every single person should watch..More than any love story or comedy or humour; the main thing shown how parents are at fault at some point forcing their children to do or become something that is beyond their capacity..Neither they appreciate their children for atleast trying this much but forcing them to live according to their wishes.Nobody cares how that child is feeling depressed from inside..How he or she is loosing confidence by little and little and at the end give up on their life's either by hurting themselves or suicide 🙁That's how real society is..That's what exactly is shown over here..This is the first important message.. {[SECONDLY}] How that childhood is ruined by pressure from parents by always studying. studying is important not to the point where from morning to night you are studying only..That 18+ that sweet twenties come once in your Lifetime..If u don't enjoy that when it was ur time then u can never enjoy that in rest of ur life..Becoz that age and that period of school or college come once in ur lifetime.. Eventually in 30's u can't enjoy the world of twenties where u will be running for ur jobs, getting married, having children; becoming an adult 😊 from youth to adulthood..life is fast so enjoy it when that time is there with you..That's what I understood from this drama And lastly the drama Cheer up why it's named Cheer up becoz it's not about the concept of cheer leading but Cheer up in life (difficult times will be there, happy moments will be there, moments when u almost gave up, some point where u cried the most) But cheer up!! Life is like that..And u will pass through it!!😊😊🌺💖life is not certain but let's cheer up only for you for your better you ..Don't give up!! Becoz ur special each one of u is special and unique..No one can replace you ( SO CHEER UP)😊 Well that's how my perception is watching this drama.. Really such a valuable message..💖

Final Review so please don't read if you want to watch the show without any hint of what is to happen: I loved this show for 9 episodes. It was so beautiful that it was on track to be one of my top 3 shows of all time. I love LSK in everything and she was perfect here. And I was quite happy with LSY as co-lead. They worked so well together and in fact almost every relationship in this show was amazingly lovely. I loved the musical theater side story and the singing was incredibly beautiful. The OST was also great and fit and enhanced the scenes without intruding. Nice touches everywhere. The cast was perfect for every single role and the acting was remarkable with great performances across the board from our leads and everyone in this great extended cast. It was such a magical, charming, fun, funny, touching and spectacular show that I expected it to remain a favorite to the end. With already some of the most beautiful moments I've ever seen.

But then for some unknown reason the tone of the show changed dramatically and negatively in about episode 10. And I felt that the show totally lost its way. The writing and directing made terrible choices and the show became unpleasant and was no longer the bright, lovely and beautiful show I loved. Conflict and dramatic tension are expected and should be in every great show. But how they presented it and dealt with it felt wrong to me. All of the wonderful relationships and even the wonderful musical theater story fell apart. And looking back from the end, I felt that the show basically wasted six episodes with this change in tone. Sure the lovely, wonderful, beautiful characters remained right there just waiting for the writing and directing to let them come out again. And they did at times before the last episode and those moments were wonderful. But the writing never captured the magic of the first 9 episodes again. And I think that's tragic because they knew how to write and produce a perfect show and then just stopped doing what worked so well. The ending didn't make up for the lost episodes and in fact I found it to be pretty sappy and overly scripted. Everything was tied up in nice neat bows. It was fine and certainly left me with a better feeling than the six episodes before it. But I leave this show regretting that it didn't stay the brilliant and phenomenal show that I fell in love with. What should have been one of the 3 best shows of all time ended up below 10 stars.

This must not be a bad show because I finished it.
Mostly it is an inofffensive drama. The main charactres pulled it off ok. I was a bit off put by the femle lead who appeared to treat the male lead with great indifferance and with complete lack of feeling when she choose the other man over him and seemed to have no regard for his feelings. She then just picked up where she left off when the photographer left.
Th main problem I had with this show was the screeching wailing mother who only seemed happy when trying to run and maybe ruin her own daughters life. What is it with these parents who want to control their own children and dictate if or when they get married and insist on grandchildren and also who is good enough for them to maary All this while kkepong in mind the fact that the parents often made a complete screw up of their own lives and marraige choices.
All in all though this is not a bad effort. much less offensive and irritating than most and worth the watch .
Being an older person it is interesting to see things from an older persons perspective with the lead actress being in her mid forties when she did this

100 Days My Prince, is a historical romance drama that stars D.O. as prince Lee Yul and Nam Ji Hyun who plays (Hong Shim) as the eventual love interest of the prince. This is a story that has been told before. The plot is straight forward. The real interest in this drama are the two leads, their acting, and the fan base that they both have makes the audience who follow their careers very happy to see them as leads in this story.

Lee Yul is a prickly prince who survives an assassination attempt, but in the process of running for his life he is wounded and hits his head on a rock and goes unconscious. The prince is found in a forest by a watchman who carries the prince to his home and the watchman nurses him back to health. The prince recovers but he has lost his memories of who he is. The watchman has a daughter and the watchman convinces the prince to marry his daughter to prevent her from becoming a concubine to an old and wicked nobleman. The marriage is fake, but eventually, Lee Yul and Hong Shim fall in love with each other. By the time they really want to be together as husband and wife, Lee Yul gets most of his memories back and is found by a person of authority who works for the King. He is brought back to the kingdom to perform his royal duties. Lee Yul and Hong Shim are now separated and the rest of the story is about their long journey to get back to each other and have the chance to live the fairy tale.

This is a well thought out story when it comes to conflict, suspense, and the clever plot conventions used to create a love story where love must overcome many difficulties and hardships before the dream of being together can be realized and attained. The only thing that I did not like about the story was that after Lee Yul fought valiantly to finally get back to his love, Hong Shim then pulls the “I’m not worthy” card out and the audience has to endure an ending that began to sour. Even if in the end, all ends well, the ending is somewhat tainted now because it could have been so much better when the prince fights for his woman and is allowed to carry her off to the castle to live a happy life, make a happy wife, and then have plenty of pretty babies 😁. When you have been to hell and back and have waited a long time to be in the full embrace and life of the one you love, you don’t turn your back on this precious moment and suddenly have a guilty conscience. This reaction is a real turn off for me and feels terribly thoughtless and disrespectful to the efforts of the one who fought so hard to get back to your side where they belong.

D.O. really played his part well and made his fan base proud. Nam Ji Hyun is just flat out beautiful and has a smile that really does “light-up-the-room” as well as the hearts of her leading men in dramas. This drama is entertaining; I just wish the lemonade ending was even sweeter.

I could’ve given it a perfect 10 because the story line from the beginning to middle was really engaging for the viewers. Much more the actors, acting and cinematography were really good.. The problem was that the story should’ve been made close to reality check & by doing so its also best that situation & attitude changes in characters involved were given a little bit more depth.. The story isn’t bad at all, actually she’s an epitome of modern day, & perfect heroine model for any man and woman. Unfortunately as she was hailed as a man’s perfect girlfriend, intelligent, smart, good wits of judging, not overly kind but nice person, understanding, loyal, would do everything to help and save her boyfriend, him and his business.. But sadly she was also described in the movie as lovelorn stupid, who did everything correct and good, but unappreciated by her so called boyfriends, ex and GM Sheng.. Its like calling her smart and stupid at the same time for chasing him hard.. To be frank the writer made her look like great but not.. Lifted up only to look her drag down.. In reality writing about a smart intelligent professional good at judging reasonable 25 something professional, whose earning well & investment savvy, would have drop a boyfriend like GM Sheng, and would stop chasing him hard, coz who has a time for that if she is that of status and character portrayed in the movie.. Without sacrificing happy ending as it supposed to be. The writer could’ve turn the table around and let him, the bf realise what a loss it is to him not to chase her back hard, but the ending was the other way around in favour of the masculinity.. Which makes her look more like the desperate one as expected.. Sadly a strong woman character seems not favourable to get chased back in equal efforts... But they sugar coated the ending well to dispelled the insult to ones intelligent commentaries.

I laughed heartily in this drama. Even when things were not seemingly the same, I still shipped the main couple, since we were given lots of understanding about the male lead's motivations and inner struggle. He certainly acted the role of the emotionless, overbearing CEO very well and played the straight man to the female lead's comedic antics, which contrasted nicely.

I felt something could have been explained to viewers so they wouldn't misunderstand the female lead's strange action to protect the male lead from unnecessary physical pain. Melatonin is a natural hormone occurring in the body which regulates sleep and can be bought as a natural health supplement. It isn't an addictive sleeping pill.

I loved the makeover of the female lead for their proper date, the accidental skinship galore, the sweet chemistry of several dynamic kisses, the scenes by water and a snow park, the very creative premise with their emotional switch, the great cast, and even the world of female sports!

The ending episodes do have quite the angst but that's to be expected in a drama, and the resolution does finally come to prove the underlying devotion. Overall, I found Love Unexpected to be a good love story and entertainment.

Great show when you’re in the mood for something light, cute, romantic, etc. I was wondering if it was going to be cheesy, but the way it was put together made for a good show to watch. (I actually finished it instead of losing interest halfway through like usual.)

Does this show have a decent story line, a few twists, and keep the evil scheming mild? Yes. You can find some good messages from the storyline and after watching many romance shows the mix of historical with modern was well done (this is where I was concerned it would be too cheesy). I liked the few twists and final resolutions to everything too. Some things actually ended up not being what I had guessed at the start.

Does this show have some seemingly pointless characters, some dragging parts, and cliches? Hmmm yes but not enough to make me stop watching. (Gotta love the skip button.)

Last and most importantly, does this show have good romance, kissing, and happy ending? (You know, the 3 things we care the most about in a romance😉) yes, yes, and yes. Although the FL could work on her kissing ML was very good. Super cute couple. ML does well getting in FL space a lot in a romantic way. 2nd couple does some hot kissing. 3rd couple was Meh. Not really needed, but cute. Not going to put in spoilers, but love how the boys are hopeless romantics for their women (ep 18 is my favorite).

I realize that it’s not whether a show is good or bad, but if it’s what I’m in the mood to watch at the time. I guess I was in the mood for a cute light show like this because I liked it.

The last episode is still missing some translation, but this show is streamed on other channels if you need to fill in the missing parts. I went to other streaming channels to fill in missing parts, but always came back to watch on Viki because, hands down, you have the best translations! Thank you!

This is an excellent romance of a guy's devoted love since a teenager for a girl just three years older than him. He charts the course of his career and goals all for the love he cherishes in his heart. I adored the male lead's robot son almost as much as the main leads.🤖👨‍🔧

I think the two seasons were made available long enough apart that I didn't have a strong urge to compare them, and I was satisfied with the love story. I really liked that both dramas had a love at first sight theme.💘💓

I really enjoyed how much this couple supported each other's goals and dreams. Lots of affection displayed by the male lead, good strong female lead, two great competing teams, nice secondary couple, and a very lovely ending for both the main couples from Seasons One and Two.👫💑

This is a very unique drama in that it is truly a tale of romance but it is embedded deeply within a suspense/thriller story. It is one of the rare dramas that has enough of each (substantially equal) that if you are only interested in the romance part of the story there is enough story content related to the romance to be satisfied with this drama even if you never care for the suspense/solve-the-crime story. If you like crime-solving thrillers and want to ignore the lovey-dovey parts of the two main characters there is enough plot and tension within the crime story that will keep you interested and on the edge of your seat for the entire series. In fact, toward the end of this drama, the love story had to take a back seat to the unnerving and chilling parts of the story when the killer is finally caught and brought to justice.

"Suspicious Partner" is special because it has a balanced blend of humor, comedy, romance, bromance, suspense, anxiety, thrills, mystery, heartache, happiness and contentment to satisfy the various desires of a large audience. This drama sort of has it all.

I am a Ji Chang Wook fan and he did not disappoint in showing his range of acting skills and emotions in "Suspicious Partner" from comedic, to courageous, to loving and tender, to hurt and frustrated, to caring and sensual. He is the rare actor whose eyes and facial expressions say a thousand words without him speaking; however, when given great words to say, combined with his physical gifts of expression, it makes him extremely endearing and a strong protective force on screen. You can see why many women get weak from his heartfelt words and his piercing gaze.

I just want to give final recognition to Nam Ji Hyun for being an equally great female lead actress in this drama. She was not only beautiful but she was also able to display her great acting abilities to demonstrate many emotions on screen---all of them authentic and realistic to the audience. To Lee Deok Hwa who was the CEO/Step-Father to Attorney No. He was the great comedic relief to the show in the many super funny staff meetings that the firm had; but he also showed he could be the loving father, the wise sage, and the attentive and caring businessman---I really loved his character. Finally, hats off to Dong Ha who really played a very sinister, foreboding, mentally disturbing, malevolent, villain/murderer. He played this role so well, that you did not like his character at all, (he was pretty scary most of the times) but you have to give him his props for such a remarkable performance.

I watched this drama elsewhere but I would like to add in my review here. I enjoyed this rewatchable 2-episode drama from beginning to end and it left me wanting more 🙂 it was short, sweet and charming. There are plenty of funny scenes that made me burst out in laughter. It’s not just all humor as there are also plenty of serious moments and tear-jerking scenes. This drama does not waste time so do no worry about being bored.

The FL Danbi is super cute and silly. Her character is what one would expect from a quirky and adorable high school senior trying to find her footing. The king is young, handsome and strong headed. Their interactions are full of chemistry and you can see how the king admires every little thing about Danbi. She is the most precious person to him. Even the queen has found friendship with her. Through modern lenses, it can feel awkward or displeasing at the king not consummating with the queen and instead falling in love with another woman (Danbi). It’s even more uncomfortable to see Danbi falling in love with the king despite her knowing he is already married- doesn’t matter if he doesn’t love the queen, it’s still cheating. But, but! It’s the Joseon period and it’s normal for a king to have many wives. And, and! This is a romcom so I can forgive Danbi for being the other woman. 🙃

IMPACTING EACH OTHER:
1) Danbi escaped her modern period feeling defeated in life. But to survive in the Joseon dynasty, she had to think on her feet and be a person of valuable contribution to the king and kingdom. It just shows that she always had the potential and she just needed to believe in herself. With the King by her side and believing in her, it brought out the best in her that she never knew.

2) The King’s determination and drive to learn superseded gender discrimination and superstition. As long as Danbi was there, he felt he could change the world. She gave him hope. I really, really liked how her hoodie with the letters L, O, V, E was what inspired him to create the characters for their first writing system. It’s like... the Hangul came from his love for his people, the future of a new Korea and his woman. I’m melting ❣️

THE CORRIDOR:
When Danbi has learned that she’s to become the king’s concubine, she ran to that (secret?) corridor that I think connects his bed room and his study room. Something about this scene felt pure and sweet. Danbi has been hiding and running away from her problems then and now. But it was with the king whom she couldn’t runaway from or hide from. Whatever the matter was, they face it together. The music in this scene was perfect. Felt like the plucking of heartstrings.

OMG THE BEACH:
I love their time together at the beach. The first time at the beach when Danbi was on the run and the king meets her there, their reunion was moving. There needn’t be any words as they stared at each other affectionately. That moment when king rushes to her and kisses her passionately, I felt like I was Danbi fluttering 😂😍. This scene reminds me of the old American film Somewhere in Time (also a time-traveling love story) where there are times words are not enough when you are standing in front of the one you love. The last time Danbi and the king were at the beach together, he held on to her so lovingly and tightly as his tears flowed down his cheeks. It’s the goodbye he dreaded. And with a couple of nods exchanged between them, he let me her go through the portal. This is where I really appreciate the camera work here to show what the king may be feeling: He stood on the beach forlorn. My heart ached for him as he promised to himself that he will find her no matter how many years it takes. This lonely stance reminds me of Wang So from Moon Lovers as he stood alone thinking of Hae Soo and promising himself he will find her in the future. Life feels long when you yearn for the one you love that cannot return to you.

Finally, this was exclusively on DramaFever but now that DF shuttered Im so happy its now on VIKI for others to watch.

Lets start off with the obvious bad because there's only a few:
1) CGI was horrible. The foxes were so unrealistic. But my saying is that bad CGI can be easily overlooked if the storyline is great.
2) Was not a *big* fan of the side romance between Dong Hua and Bai Feng.(watch eternal love of dream for Dong Hua and Bai Fenf story)

The great:
1) Yang Mi is a great actress and the way she played the FL was flawless. This is a story about the FL being sent away to train with the God of War because her parents find her naughty and hard to control. And she is. But add a dash of imprisonment, heavenly war, loss of memory, and you have a mixture for a very unique xter. She becomes a woman aware of her Goddess status which makes her distant from others. But she's also quirky in an "Im such an old Goddess way" and acts aloof as a way to create distance from others.

2) then theres Mark Chao -- bestill my beating heart-- who plays the Crown Prince. He's the wunderkind of Heavenly Realm never doing anything wrong until he falls in love in the mortal world. His heartbreak and determination to reunite with his wife is just so moving.

3) Sweet little Ali -- cutest kid in the heavenly Realm and all around great wing man for his dad.

4) The love story. This is a love story where the ML falls hard and fast for the FL and does everything in his power to win her over *every* time despite facing heartbreak and rejection.

I have watched this at least a dozen times and can say its a go-to show for great acting and storyline.
