Bing was the only good friend...
I love horror BL dramas, so when I read the summary and looked at the tags, I was all in. The first episode, as well as the second and third, had my attention. However, by the fourth, I noticed the actors' reactions weren't right. Why did they keep letting Kenn keep going off alone? Something scary occurred and Kenn is like let me go to my room, let me get water... alone.
I understand plotwise he needed to be by himself, but there were better ways to achieve that. Bing was already the established scary cat. So all they had to do was let him follow Kenn, he would be scared and run while Kenn would be shocked into place as always. Instead, it felt as though they weren't good friends with Toh always telling Bing not to follow Kenn.
Like come on, in one scene Kenn looked traumatized, and Bing wanted to check on him but Toh held him back calling him clingy. I only caught on that maybe he was jealous at the end when I saw the way they died holding hands, but besides that, I saw no sparks between the two.
Anyway, that's my rant about that aspect.
I already knew they were dead. I thought it be a twist with Kenn still alive because he was the only one experiencing the majority of the weirdness. On that note, it probably would have been better if he was the only one in the house. That would have made more sense. However. I understood why they added people after all there is another drama with a similar plot.
The romance felt kind of forced, I didn't really feel the connection between them. But I think that's due to the plot. I feel that if Kenn was the one who could see spirits and he was seeing him beforehand before they died that would have made it better.
That's all from me.
