You're Beautiful is as close to perfect as kdramas can get. You have a a girl who grew up training to be a nun posing as her twin brother in order to find the mother who she thinks abandoned them. And then there is the boy harem, which consists of a strict almost jerk-like kind of guy who can't ever admit his feelings to himself, a boy who has no problem admitting his feelings but has really poor timing, and the comic relief guy who ends up thinking he may be gay because of his feelings for the main girl (which is hilarious!). The music is absolutely perfect! I swear, nothing can make you smile as quickly as Promise, or choke up like My Heart's Calling! I try to be honest with myself in terms of the flaws of a tv show, just so that I can remind myself that I have really poor taste sometimes :p But honestly, with You're Beautiful it's really hard to pinpont any. I will say that the love rectangle gets really painful at times, and your heart will break for some of the characters. But then Tae Kyung will say "Go Mi Nam" in his pretentious way, and smile his crazy little smile, and your heart will melt all over again! When it's all said and done, if you want something to watch that will run you the full gamut of emotions from ecstatic and giggly to worried and crying, this is what you want to watch! And now, having talked about it, I must go watch all of my favorite scenes again for the umpteenth time!!
