The drama made my heart break a million times over and over again. The meeting between the two was so perfectly cute made their parting a million times more painful.
The OST sticks to your head, it was easy to the ears and to the head. The music was also perfect for each of the scenes that they were placed on.

I guess I liked it so much because it was somewhat relatable to me. And I think it gave me such a valuable perspective back when I was younger.
The story and execution left such a huge imprint on me that even without actually re-watching it, I could remember almost every scene.

The main antagonist was ice cold creepy and was as evil as evil can be. The child actors were commendable. The girl who played Rang was consistent all-throughout. Lee Dong Wook's character changed through the middle. I liked how he was at first and hoped to see more of that.
There were a lot of love lines. There was this one love line between the two protagonists; however, I felt more chemistry between the Crown Prince and Da In. I was hoping for that to develop more - it actually felt that it would develop some more, but it was suddenly pulled out (?). I really felt like the Won did not need another reason to clear his name. Just having his daughter was enough. Though it was really weird how at first he would always mention Rang and his sister, which changed in the latter part. He should have stuck on with this.

Well, enough of my Mishil raving. The story was just splendid. It was this mixture of sadness and joy, of hope and despair, of intrigue and clarity through and through.
It talked about family, love, ambition and all those elements that are hardly on just one drama. The last few episodes were both heartbreaking and fulfilling at the same time.
