Okay, I've watched a ton of BL's, basically all of the great ones that are available. I've never written a review either but I felt the need to for this one. This is by far the best one I've seen. It's perfectly crafted as an amazing story with the best actors that could have been chosen. I couldn't believe how incredibly Mix played Tian being a first time actor. He certainly has a gift for this profession and I'm really looking forward to (hopefully) seeing him in more dramas. The music is also incredible and completely different to other BL's. Finally, there isn't a plotline revolving around college students. Tian is an engineering student but this drama did what most others didn't and actually had the character use what he's studying in order to help the villagers at one point.

This drama shares the intense chemistry of both main characters without being overbearing. In fact, the subtleties are what makes this drama. Normally I never really get excited until characters are kissing, but these two make it obvious of what they feel for each other when they simply lock eyes and you can feel it through the screen. I highly recommend this drama regardless of what genres you normally watch because this masterful BL is like no other and should be seen by everyone.
