As a person who is a sucker for student/teacher relationships I'll say....

It was pretty damn good. As someone who watches a lot of stuff for inspirations for an idea to write my first novel (maybe a trilogy now) I'll say this gave me a lot to work with. The actors did a superb. It teaches a valuable lessons of that love doesn't mean you to meet the algorithm to find your perfect match. That grandpas no what's best for their grandchildren, that yes ditzy girls with loving hearts are the key to making guys (I'll add Naoki and Kotoko in the mix for Mischievous Kiss fans) It basically had that same theory. That love is bigger than books, brains, and logic. That you are human and a Vulcan (Spock's logic is great logic, but he was also an alien) and human's require love and nurture (unless you're a serial killer). I liked what Grandpa said that in true romance their shouldn't be two parallel lines in a relationship, that one needs to intersect. I felt that it was true for (I'm terrible with Chinese names I'm American making this post so it's even harder, sorry!) But for the ML and FL I feel like Grandpa was right, sometimes to escape the past that turned you stiff and cold you need to find someone that's going to push you to not be scared to take risks and let you be happy.

I know I should commit on the others, but I feel like I'm going to anyway to give a solid review. The sister I understand with their father passing she'd always have the motherly and protective instinct especially since it was just her and the FL (who is her sister) growing up. But, I felt like she was so guarded that she winded up building such a wall that I was afraid she wasn't going to let true love takes its course for her and I felt she deserved a happy ending. She gave so much. And it's ironic that who she fell in love with is her sister's husband's best friend. I also find it ironic that his best friend is a drama actor. But, I felt like she needed him to waken up and break down her barriers to truly be able to live a happy life.

As for the FL friends. I will say this is the first time I didn't like them. Now, I should be more specific. I don't like her female best friend. She flirts with guys and she broke up with her I think childhood sweetheart and he's still there picking up her mess. And because she was bored of him she went and broke up with him to go out with crappy guy after crappy guy. He still helped her out and she kept throwing him under the bus. She royally made me mad. And honestly, she didn't deserve happiness. She deserved to be miserable because she never gave him a full reason as to why she broke up with him. She was just bored. She fell in love with the wrong guys to easy and her crying was annoying. When the boy best friend finally broke up with her I was hoping he was going to get away from her for good and lead a life to where hopefully he find someone that would genuinely lead him happiness and not toxicity. It was nice easy drama that I got into, but I must say there was somethings that I wanted to know that I didn't really wanted to find out. Like, I felt like I wasn't clear on how the dad died. What happened to the girls' mother? That I felt was unclear, but all in all it was okay. I may rewatch again I may not, but it was good. Not the best. Yes I did cry at some parts, because the FL and ML were literally the best part of the whole drama ( which is the point, but I've got side-tracked wanting the second leads to find their true love). Good drama.
