I stumbled into dramaland because a favorite author of mine watched Kdramas and recommended several. I watched my first Kdrama at the beginning of my freshman year in college and then didn’t watch any more until the end of my freshman year at which point I started watching more Cdramas than anything else. Due to a desire to become fluent in Mandarin, I still watch Chinese dramas more than anything else, but every once in a while, I’ll watch a Kdrama as a palate cleanser so I can take a break from language studies.
