What was the point?
This drama is actually good in the first few episodes because it gives the implication that there's a lot to uncover. It keeps driving you in deeper, introducing new characters now and then, but in the end, that's all you get. The actual point of the story is a mystery, the story itself is a mystery, and the characters are mysterious. The creators of this show are trying to fill a book with the solution of a 1 + 1 equation. They manage to have nothing original, plot holes at the most crucial points, a bunch of absolutely useless characters, and even fail to present the show coherently with their confusing timelines. These timelines have absolutely zero relation or connection, and they switch between them without any information to the point that one will only realize they are distinct in the future.
They only managed to expose Go Min Si pointlessly and for absolutely no reason other than to maybe have a point of watching. She killed it, and she may be the reason to make you thrilled for the story, but from the moment she appears to the end, there's nothing else to her character except confusion and mystery.

A RIDE LIKE NO OTHER
Expressing my love for this rare Masterpiece.I've never written a review before. bla bla bla ... ..... , You already know this is a serious business proposal.
kdrama proposal:
1. Some serious business is about to start
2. Perfect casting
3. No dragging
4. No dragging
5. Refined clichés (a lot of)
6. Intensity
7. remarkable comedy
8. Serious plot holes when necessary
9. No supporting osts to make it better.
10. Original kdrama
11. Nostalgic
12. No more
Kdrama proposal? More like A business proposal to me.
It touches every possible k-clichés, And it does it with a touch of really good comedy, an unbeatable pace and a less awkward presentation. As It took me back to 2015 through 2018, It reminded me of the "real" kdramas which made me an addict I am today. We need this kind of refreshers every year to cope with the modern trend of deviation ,aka internationalization, ffs.
How it handled multiple complicated situations which would take episodes in other dramas. How it dealt with the trauma without dragging it with hints and making a big deal out of it to the extent of making the audience uncomfortable.
It's the only drama which I just had to repeat too many scenes over and over before and after finishing many of the episodes. It took me more than 2 hours to finish some episodes all due to repetition and interaction with it's remarkably active fanbase to project my happiness. It was an experience to remember.
I keep asking myself how do you come up with such perfect casts? Every single cast was just so good that you can't picture someone else in that role. I loved all likeable characters. I never liked, nor understood the two unlikeable characters.

Alchemy of Souls : Partie 1

This is crazy!!!
Alchemy of soul had me search on google how to wait for an episode in a week. Before watching the first episode, I had my routines and priorities. Now I have depression and addiction. Every aspect of this show is perfect and well balanced. when I say there's comedy, I mean that which actually makes you laugh and not one that was put for the sake of it. And if you can laugh, you won't do it once or twice. It'll become a routine. There's comedy in this show. But comedy isn't even mentioned in the genres. Now imagine what the drama delivers in terms of the listed genres. Can you even imagine? But what's even crazier is the blend of everything: The Osts will make you repeat the scenes forever. The cinematography, the story, the cast, the script... everything about this drama is out of this world.
This is the kind of show I have to wait for an episode in a week. As usual, the online community gave me some solutions:
1. Be productive, one week is fast
2. watch other shows, play video games, ... find something to do, don't be winny bitch
3. I mean...there are other things to do than wait for a korean fantasy drama.
4. blah blah blah
but I decided to focus on the good side of the wait:
1. It teaches patience.
2. That Dday feeling.
3. Plenty of time to go crazy about an episode with fellow Alchemists
4. Theories and fans' insights. There are actually crazy brilliant kaddicts who breaks down concepts from dramas and you just love it. It's like a beautiful addition you never knew you needed.
5. Dreams: I actually dream about shows. My brain creates its own version of the next episode. this has happened a lot.
but seriously, for this show I need something intense to keep me alive. It doesn't even have to be a Kdrama, any movie will do. I tried tomorrow but it's just really lacking, or maybe my standards have skyrocketed.
Hey Alchemists!!
