Eh

Haven't quite completed it (on ep. 24) but my biggest pet peeves with it all are the main girl, Weiwei. She's ok as an actress I guess but I wouldn't cast her as a lead. The chemistry between her and male lead, Nai, is seriously lacking. Whenever they kiss Nai is the only one making it worth the watch (he's probably a pretty good kisser in real life). He seems very serious throughout but he's supposed to be but I think he's really sweet. Weiwei on the other hand is more lively but I just don't like her as the lead. They try to show She's intelligent but they focus so much on her looks but several of the other girls in the show are prettier imo and not quite as skinny. I know it's horrible to bring up somebody's weight these days but they make a point of making it seems like she likes to eat and it's so hard to watch because all I see is someone with an illness/disorder. Basically, it's a good series but the lead actress is killing it for me

The story is good on its own but the silliness you will find throughout is what makes it so good imo. Also, the Wang Wu (fl) & Wang Lu (ml) nonsensical banter is my absolute favorite thing about this series. They bicker like an old married couple and I can't wait for them to become a couple. Liuli, one of the supporting cast, is my true favorite though. She's so cute and funny. Her food driven behavior and lack of understanding are adorably, silly and the next thing you know, she's an absolute master in fighting and you almost forget she's a little off ? The whole cast is great though and they really make the series what it is.
