Flashbacks, superpowers, technobabble...oh wait there's more!

This is what happens when style doesn't meet substance at all. You've got some stylish cinematography -- then use that to justify a script that is so unfocused and unedited it feels like five shows smashed into one...and none of the five shows are good either.

You've got Venus Wong with some sort of affliction which causes her to be super sensitive...but it's actually an excuse for them to say she can actually see past scenes just being "feeling" it in the area but yet she can't feel things going directly around her. It's really stupid.

You've got some sort of technobabble with a secret "diviner" person who gets introduced suddenly into the plot (I *think* it was supposed to be some sort of "twist" but ultimately made little sense) and uses technology to hynotize people? Throw in some stylized "chat rooms" in there for good measure.

And the plot? A very prolonged serial killer for justice thing which ties it all together....sorta.

And to make sure it feels "modern" throw in tons of flashbacks and re-tracing of entire episodes in different perspectives.

I feel tired just writing about this.
