Unbaised Review
After watching FOF, I decided to give this variety show a chance for HMH and TJR, and I’m glad I did. It exceeded my expectations. Tian Jia Rui was an absolute delight his extroverted personality, humor, and cheerful energy made watching him a joy. Honestly, I had assumed he might be more introverted, possibly due to Zhuo Yi Chen’s influence, but he completely surprised me. Neo was so helpful and selfless, i will be definitely his fan after this. The sibling-like dynamics between HMH and ZYT, as well as TJR and JC, were another highlight of the show. It was heartwarming to see their camaraderie.
Having loved HMH and TJR’s characters in FOF, this show made me admire them even more as individuals. Their kindness and authenticity truly shine through.
However, the fans are the one downside to this show. Many seem intent on tearing others down to uplift their favorites. For instance, I came across a ridiculous claim in the mdl review that TJR was “inappropriate” for hugging female members, something all the cast members did as a normal part of their interactions. If I hadn’t watched the show myself, I might have believed such baseless accusations.
Similarly, I saw someone criticize HMH as “lazy,” which couldn’t be further from the truth. He was incredibly helpful throughout. There were even bizarre rumors about tax evasion, which were clearly fabricated. Also allegations like HMH drove without driving license.
It’s frustrating and disheartening to see the cast face such unwarranted negativity. This is simply a lighthearted travel show with typical travel-related challenges. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I feel bad for what the cast had to endure.

Drama Review: D-Day
D-Day is an emotionally gripping medical disaster drama that captures the devastation of a massive earthquake in Seoul and the heroic efforts of medical professionals who risk everything to save lives. The 6.5-magnitude earthquake leaves the city in chaos, destroying infrastructure and leaving countless victims in dire need of help. Amid the destruction, three doctors Hae Sung, Ddol Mi, and Woo Jin come together to face unimaginable challenges, holding onto hope and humanity as they navigate life-and-death situations.
Plot and Themes
The story highlights the stark contrast between profit-driven medical institutions and the true essence of being a doctor. Hae Sung, portrayed as a skilled and compassionate surgeon, defies his hospital's policies to save lives, even at the cost of his career. His actions inspire Ddol Mi, a doctor who initially pursued wealth and fame, to rediscover her purpose. Woo Jin, despite his rising fame, secretly shares the same passion for saving lives. Together, the trio faces heart-pounding emergencies, embodying courage and selflessness in the face of adversity.
The drama explores themes of resilience, morality, and the human spirit in times of crisis. The intense situations and emotional depth keep viewers on the edge of their seats while delivering a powerful message about the importance of empathy and dedication in the medical field.
Cast and Performances
The casting for D-Day is nothing short of perfect, with stellar performances that bring the story to life. Kim Young Kwang shines as Hae Sung, delivering a nuanced and heartfelt portrayal of a surgeon torn between his duty and institutional constraints. Having previously seen him in Love Rain, I was thrilled to see him in a lead role, where he proves his versatility and exceptional acting skills.
Jung So Min, playing Ddol Mi, delivers an equally impressive performance. Her growth as an actress since her role in Playful Kiss is evident, as she embodies the character's transformation with authenticity and depth. The chemistry between Kim Young Kwang and Jung So Min is undeniable, adding an emotional layer to their partnership on screen.
The supporting cast also deserves applause. Familiar faces from other dramas add depth and familiarity to the story, enhancing the overall viewing experience. Each actor contributes to the drama's intensity, making the characters memorable even when their roles are less likable.
Final Thoughts
D-Day is a drama that captivates with its compelling storyline, remarkable performances, and emotional intensity. It is not just a disaster drama but a poignant exploration of humanity's strength and compassion in the face of tragedy. Kim Young Kwang and Jung So Min's exceptional performances, coupled with a strong supporting cast, make this a must-watch for fans of medical and disaster dramas.
If you're looking for a drama that combines thrilling action, heartfelt moments, and inspiring characters, D-Day is an excellent choice.

A Heartfelt Masterpiece
Queen of Tears is an absolute masterpiece a drama that touched my heart in ways I didn’t expect. From the very first episode to the last, it delivered a perfect blend of humor, emotion, and heartfelt storytelling.Kim Soo Hyun’s performance was a revelation. His ability to balance comedy and deep emotional scenes was stunning, making his character unforgettable. If I could rate his acting, it would be a thousand out of ten. Kim Ji Won, on the other hand, brought a unique charm to her role, and her chemistry with Kim Soo Hyun was electric. Together, they created a pairing that felt fresh, relatable, and iconic.
What truly sets this drama apart is its storytelling. The narrative was full of moments that made me laugh and cry, often at the same time. The way the characters evolved, particularly Hae In and Hyun Woo, was beautifully done. Hae In’s journey of rediscovering love, even after losing her memories, was breathtaking. Watching her fall for him all over again, with the same innocence and determination as the first time, was a joy to witness.
The symbolism in the drama like the four-leaf clover and the diary added depth and meaning to the story. Each time the diary appeared, it was a poignant reminder of their love, and it brought both tears and smiles.
The family dynamics were another highlight. The contrast between the two families added layers to the story, showcasing different perspectives on love and relationships. It was heartwarming to see how these differences ultimately brought everyone closer.
The most beautiful moment for me? When Hae In kept saying Hyun Woo’s name. That scene encapsulated the essence of the drama: love that endures, heals, and transforms.
Queen of Tears is more than just a drama it’s an emotional journey. The Ice Cold Princess and the King of Tears have left an indelible mark on my heart. This is a story I’ll cherish forever.
To anyone who hasn’t watched it yet, you’re in for a treat. And for those who have, let’s keep celebrating this incredible team and the magic they created.

However, their lives take a dramatic turn when Hui Ju is kidnapped, forcing them to reevaluate their relationship and confront their true feelings. The series excels in character development, presenting Baek Sa Eon as a man torn between duty and personal growth, and Hui Ju as a symbol of silent strength and resilience.
