A simple romance
Overall, the storyline is nothing new. However, I appreciate how the characters were developed and enjoy how once the main characters admit their love for each other that it is not a tug and war of trust like most drama. It is refreshing that each episode they tackle the new crisis/drama together, instead of the usual one person trying to fix every thing without telling the other. It is nice to have an adult, honest and good communication relationship to watch. Sometimes, you just want to enjoy a simple romance with a little drama thrown in with lots of humor added.Cet avis était-il utile?
Lackluster
I enjoyed Yumi's Cell, so was looking forward to this one. However, I find myself a little bored. I just don't feel the chemistry between Babi and Yumi compared to scenes with Yumi and Wung. I think the actor who plays Babi, just doesn't have the depth (his emotion are flat) compared to the actor who plays Wung ...you feel his emotion. I wish that didn't bring Wung back because you feel so bad for him. I know in the webtoon she ends with neither of them, so it makes it hard to watch because what's the point to get attach to the characters if you know it is not going to end well. You invest in the character and in the last episode she ends up with someone else. I definitely don't think there needs to be a Yumi 3. It is just me, but I keep rooting for Wung, but I know it is pointless. Both relationship our pointless, if the series ends like the webtoon because the series is just a snippet of the long, running webtoon.Cet avis était-il utile?

Storyline is lacking
You watch this show and hope for some interesting storyline about marriage, but instead it is a show playing on stereotypical reasons why men cheat, with a dash of blaming the wives because they were lacking in meeting their husband's needs. The possible one positive was the variations of wives - one who gave her whole life to her family and is considered frumpy and uninteresting, the strong, self-centered diva who has a wall build up to protect herself, and the women who seems to have it all but is trying so hard to be perfect so that her husband doesn't stray. I keep fast forwarding to learn more about the wives and their character development because these roles are more interesting than watching how the husbands started the affairs. The lack of communication between the spouses makes the show uninteresting too.I would have preferred to see how the women move forward from the betrayal and not spending the whole season watching the development of the affairs that lack any real connection - pretty young women feeding on a man's need for validation. It would have been more interesting if at least one of the affairs didn't fit the typical mistress mold. The mistresses seem to have no internal conflict about being a mistress ...you would think at least one would ...and would help the viewer to feel torn for their characters. It really does become boring. The best scene was when the daughter tells her father off. As I said before, I started to fast forward through most of show to focus on the wives and how they related to each other, but that has been minimal too. Overall, the script was lacking. The saving grace is the actors' performances.

Sweet and Sassy
This heartwarming drama with perfect comedic and tear-jerk timing was so fun to watch! I had to give it a 10 overall. The ensemble of characters brought to life a small seaside town that you would want to live in. I enjoy dark, thriller dramas too, but sometimes you want to enjoy simple stories that are relatable and thoughtful...and don't have someone out to ruin someone else. This well-written script had the perfect balance of sweetness and sassiness that either made you laugh out loud or say ahh or bring you tears. Hence, I don't need to do a deep dive on the story or characters. All I want to say is if you want to laugh, cry, and smile then this is the show for you. I will definitely keep an eye for other dramas that the screenwriter has written.Cet avis était-il utile?
Not an adaption of Little Women
From the very beginning, the only recognizable connection to the classic is three sisters who are poor. ..well, not even that. They are missing one sister. Please don't call this an adaption and get a person's expectation up for a modern day version of Little Women, which had beautiful characters and a story of family and love. It was not a story of women feeling sorry for themselves that they were poor, but how they dealt with the unfairness of being poor and dealing with their social standing. Ugh, it is just another K-drama. It could have been something special. I won't be watching.Cet avis était-il utile?

Falls flat
I have tried a few times now to watch this show because I have liked other dramas with Ji Hyun Woo, but each time I feel like this drama is over the top (storyline) and missing something that I honestly I can't tell you what that is. I really don't feel the chemistry between the leads...maybe it is because the lead female acting doesn't seem sincere to me (basically, not the best actress) and therefore the humor falls flat. Really, there was more humor and chemistry with the young Dan Dan in the first episode than with the 20 something Dan Dan. Overall, it does have a strong cast of actors (like Dan Dan's dad and stepmother...now that relationship is interesting), but the storyline and age difference between the main leads feels off. Dan Dan is closer to the Young Guk's daughters age and behavior, which makes it hard for me to see why he is falling for her. Since, I haven't watched much of this show, there is not much more to say, except it failed to catch my interest.Cet avis était-il utile?
