Forgettable BL with a HE

- Genre –
Entertainment Industry/Romance/TV Star/BL

- Brief Synopsis –
Protagonist A is a die-hard fan of B and dreams of meeting him. One day, he secures an internship on B’s set and ends up given the duty of taking care of B. As they start spending more time with each other, B start falling for A and they end up in a secret relationship. The rest of the episodes focuses on the development of their relationship. Towards the end, their relationship is temporarily broken when A finds out B has done an intimate scene with another actor without telling him. The shows ends with them getting together and A leaving his fan persona behind to properly become B’s lover.

- Plot and Storyline –
This plot does not contain any plot twists that would make the story memorable in any way. The pacing is notably swift, particularly in the development of the romance, which can feel abrupt and lacks a gradual buildup. While the story introduces elements of angst, the emotional impact is diminished, primarily because the source of conflict revolves around one of the main characters doing an intimate scene with another actor without the knowledge of their partner. As a viewer, the lack of investment in this particular couple undermines the potency of the angst, failing to evoke a meaningful response. All in all, it's a good story but badly executed.

- Character Development –
The only development is that both characters learn to become more mature over time.

- Acting -
The overall sweetness of the relationship between the main characters is apparent, but the absence of a gradual buildup makes their coming together feel somewhat plain. The kisses and small touches, while present, lack a significant impact due to this rushed development. Despite all that, the actors do a good job in building chemistry. Another thing to note is that in this show, the actors offer a more mature portrayal of intimate scenes, pushing the boundaries by depicting sexual content to the extent permissible without revealing everything.

However, the acting from supporting characters occasionally falls into the realm of exaggeration, making it challenging for the audience to fully engage. Furthermore, the portrayal of acting within the fictional show in the series is deemed subpar, to the extent that skipping those scenes becomes a necessity.

- Production Quality -
Decent production quality with somewhat realistic sets and props.

- Writing and Dialogue -
Writing can sometimes be a little cringey.

- Pacing -
Pacing is good.

- Themes and Message –
In order to have a long-lasting relationship with your idol, you need to stop looking at him as your idol but as a person.

- Audience Appeal -
Anyone who likes the concept of idol dating a fan will probably like it. But it should be noted that A’s personality can be a little too childish which is a turnoff for some.

- Standout Moments -
The onsen scene really stood out to me because I have never seen an intimate scene so sexual. This scene was leaning closer to porn rather than what we typically see in BL.

- Criticisms -
x A's character is way too childish, to the point it's almost a little cringey at times.
x Acting from other characters can sometimes get way too exagerrated. The writing also suffers the same problem, which takes away realism.
x Both A and B's characters aren't very likable for me so rooting for them and getting invested in their relationship is a little difficult.

- Conclusion -
I won’t be rewatching this show but I will be revisiting the onsen scene…probably.

NOT RECOMMENDED or RECOMMENDED TO BE WATCHED ON 4x.

Premise: A romance story about a photographer meeting a fellow traveler on a beach and slowly falling in love over the course of a few days.

GOOD:
- CINEMATOGRAPHY: Very beautiful location. The show also had an almost dream like quality to it.
AVERAGE:
- ACTING: Acting was okay. There weren't any awkard moments but the show is just to bland to allow the actors to show off any real acting.

BAD:
- PLOT: The show feels pointless. Nothing seems to be going on and at the end of the show, we are left with a "that's it?" feeling. The show spends most of its runtime showing the photographer taking photos or the two of them eating or walking around. This show just feels extremely incomplete and makes you wonder if it had been meant as a pilot.
- LACK OF BL: Everything here seemed to be heavily implied. The characters aren't together at the end of the show and no confessions has taken place. If you wanted, this could be counted as bromance.
- PACE: The pace of this show is so slow it can be considered boring. As mentioned before, nothing seems to be happening and there are no character development to speak of.
- CHARACTERS: The characters themselves are so bland that it is difficult to comment on them. The show doesn't spend much time building them up.
- OPEN ENDING: The show ends with the characters promising to travel together from now on but we have no idea how long that will last.

CONCLUSION: NOT RECOMMENDED or RECOMMENDED TO BE WATCHED ON 4x.

Had Potential but Failed

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Intern): Sky
T (Owner's Son): Ace

B is an intern at the company T is currently managing as the owner's son. The story revolves around B and T starting out on bad terms because T isn't a very nice person and through spending more time together, they eventually fall in love, get together and even come out as a couple. The first season end with a happy ending but the second season, because the actor playing T didn't come back to monetary reasons, B and T breaks up and B meets someone else.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- The concept was nice but badly executed.
- The boys looked adorable together.

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT IT
- Villainize female characters for the sake of angst or plot. This show puts female characters under a bad light and make them do random stuff just for the sake of advancing the plot.
- The second season totally erases what happens in the first season. It just doesn't make sense for them to break up in the second season considering how in love they were in the first season and how much they had gone through together.
- The acting is a big weakness. The ensemble cast can get very cringey and the main leads lack the chemistry of some other couples. They are gorgeous and look good together. But it felt more as if they were best friends rather then lovers. They lack any small heart fluttering little interactions and look more like kids playing around.
- The writing and the plot is just cliche and awkward. The episode they got together was cute but it kind of went downhill after that. The plot where Moira tries to get revenge is just so random and the way she was planning it out makes her look like a cartoon villain. It was extremely cringe.
- The editing and the music. Unlike TW dramas, this show did not utilize music well enough to create an atmosphere of romance around the characters. Like I said, chemistry is lacking between the two actors, partly because of their acting, partly because of the editing and music.
- The episodes sometimes drags out and since nothing is happening, it's a little boring.
- Stereotypical gay characters often seen in BL just make things cringe. No character development from anyone making this a very superficial story.

**Conclusion**
This is a show you can skip or simply watch the beginning and the episode where they got together. There were some cute moments but the knowledge they broke up in season 2 just leaves a bad taste in my mouth especially considering how they just came out to everyone as a couple and said they loved each other at the end of season 1.

Predictable and Unpredictable At The Same Time

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Employee): Ji
T (Artist): Yoon

Beginning: B is an employee who has recently been discharged because a misunderstanding. Not knowing what to do in the main time, he goes on a trip to a small coastal town and meets T. T is an artist and the favorite artist of the ceo of the company B works at. Immediately B recognizes him and had this brilliant idea of approaching T and convince him to return to the art world and world with their company, hoping this will be enough to convince the ceo to allow him back to work. At first, B only sees T as a ticket back to his old life, but unexpectedly an attraction starts to develop between them and before he knew it he was falling for the other man.

Middle: The more B feels for T the guiltier he felt about the lies he told T. It got even worst after B confesses to T and T accepts and asks him out. B started hesitating whether he should tell T the truth but when T told him how he was hurt in the past by trusting the wrong person, B gives up the idea of telling T the truth, afraid that it will break them up. He decides to give up on using T and let things happen naturally and if he doesn't get hired back, he'll try to find another job. And if the company forcec him to use T he'll resign. But before anything could happen, T finds out about B's reason for being here and freaks out. No matter how many times B tries to tell him he didn't pretend to love him for the company, T doesn't believe him and tells him he doesn't want to see him again. B continues his efforts of convincing T of his feelings but T just wouldn't listen.

End: B returns to his job in the main time but he is still broken up by what is going on with T. His efforts to letting T know he hasn't lied about his feelings wasn't working. He tries to work but it's obvious it wasn't working. T on the other hand isn't doing any better. But luckily he has a friend to talk it over with. The friend tells him that B isn't lying when he said he loved him and T shouldn't let the past dictate his future and make him miss out on what could be the best thing that could happen to him. T has a flashback to a previous time when B was drunk and told him he hadn't expected to fall for him. He realizes that B might be serious and finally forgives him. B and T finally meets and T asks him to get back together which he agrees. In the end, B did quit his job after his manager asked him once more to use T. The series ends with them together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- I loved and hated how real it was. B hesitating whether he should give up his career for T and ended up not to give up is just so real. Since he was the one to bring up using T, the company didn't force him to do anything, he had no other people then himself to blame. And he had debts to think of and couldnt give up so easily. He only quit at the end because he knew the company will continue using him to get to T if he stayed so it's better for him to find another job.
- I love the buildup. The acting was great and the actors had great chemistry together. The show felt real.
- The cinematography was beautiful. It felt like a high quality production.
- The pacing was good and the progression of their relationship felt natural. We were actually rooting for the couple and each step they take towards each other feels like a small victory.
- The characters were very relatable and their actions made sense in the context of the show. These are normal people falling in love for the first time and we are only along for the ride. I also love the side characters. They are charming in their own way and help the main characters grow.
- The leads look gorgeous together. They just fit and seeing them kiss is a visual masterpiece.

WHAT I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT
- I didn't like the lack of communication at the end. Athough the motivation are understandable but B should have been more honest with his feelings and told T before hand about the company. Although it would have been a little better but hope much better is debatable because B did end up choosing the company over T. And T not believing him is understandable because of his past traumas.
- It's a slow burn and outside their relationship nothing else happens. Everything surrounds the couple.
- There aren't any intimate scenes but the hugging and kissing scenes are enough to make you heart flutter. And they look gorgeous together.
- B tries to do everything himself, only messing things up. He should try to rely more on T.

**Conclusion**
A very high quality show that should be watched.

Wasted Potential

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Ayan
T (Student): Akk

Beginning: B and T are both students at a prestigious all boys academy known for their strict rules. A rumor has it that a curse exists that will punish all rule breakers and if things get out of control, the whole school might be impacted. B is a transfer student who transferred to this school to investigate what is going on and what happened to his uncle to lead to his suicide. T is a perfect, in charge of enforcing the rules. B and T begin their relationship on the wrong foot. Because B thinks T is brainwashed and don't care about the other students and T thinks B is trouble and should be supervised at all times to prevent him from breaking rules. But despite everything attraction starts forming between them, not that they would admit.

Throughout the series, B is busy trying to find evidence of this school's wrongdoing and T is trying to find evidence of B's wrongdoing so he could get him expelled. To complete this plan, T needs the note book B has been writing in and to get that notebook, he starts following him around (and maybe get more info on him). And the more he learns about B the more he sympathizes with him and he start realizing that maybe there was more to the picture then what he can see. But no matter how his feelings might be changing, there is a constant fight between his sense of duty towards the school and his own feelings. Later on, it is revealed that in order to maintain piece, T came up with the idea of the curse and did a lot of things to make the non conformers think they are in danger.

Towards the end, it is revealed that the school's corrupt system has lead to the uncle's suicide. However, the school continued to function and nothing seemed to have changed except for more inclusive rules because they realized just how much harm the rules were doing. T who nearly killed someone wasn't even punished for his actions. At the end, with the truth revealed, B finally relaxes and he and T could finally be together with T having finally admitted his feelings.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I DID LIKE ABOUT IT
- The acting is really good in emotional scenes. The crying is phenomenal and we could feel what the characters are feeling.
- The pacing is okay although the revelation at the end was a little rushed. The pacing for the relationship is a little rushed. From what we could see onscreen, they should have had time to become friends but definitely not enough time to develop feelings. Its just not realistic.
- The way the framed the mystery captivates you and makes you want to watch towards the end even if the ending didn't exactly pay off. The mystery convinced me to continue watching until the end but because I couldn't stand the other characters, I would skip to Ayan. The conclusion was disappointing as I thought there would be more to it.

WHAT I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT
- The whole school system presented. I know that the goal of the show is to show us an oppressive and corrupt school system but that doesn't make it less pleasant to see evidence of it. The school is more like a cult then a school. T is the perfect example of that. He was willing to potentially injure someone to uphold the rules. He didn't even think of the consequences of his actions.
- T wasn't punished for his actions. Just admitting his wrongdoing isn't enough. It's like just because your attacker apologized he shouldn't be punished for his actions.
- T's character is just not likable. He doesn't give us any reason for B to like him. Like is based on trust and B doesn't even trust him, believes he store his notebook even though he knows how important it is to him. Their relationship is just not very healthy if that are both guarded toward each other. There is buildup but the buildup just isn't believable or make me want to root for them.
- No plot twists or memorable moments. The mystery felt so flat at the end. It didn't live up to the excitement I was feeling in the first few episodes.

**Conclusion**
A very tiring show to watch with mostly unlikable characters, because of the plot.

Promising Beginnings Disappointing Ending

**Brief Synopsis**
B: Talay
T: Tun

Beginning: T and B are sent to an alternate universe after dying in their own. To return to their original universe, they have to find their key. As they search for that key, they live life to the fullest in their new universe and slowly fall in love. The series end with them returning to their original universe and meeting for real and starting a relationship.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- Their relationship didn't come out of no where. They started as friends and fell for each other after spending a long time together. The pining stage was beautifully done.

WHAT I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT
- T is supposed to be some kind of extremely famous actor but they dont make the audience feel that(his interview only had 9k people watching and only a few fans were waiting at the airport for him which is very unusual). His fame doesn't seem to play much of a role in the aftermath of the revelation he might be involved with a guy (the picture of him kissing another guy was leaked but there doesn't seem to have a big effect which is weird considering his fame). And B suddenly dating T doesnt seem to surprise Bs friends at all. It cheapens the reveal and make it seem inconsequential.
- The lack of chemistry. The actors feel more like bros then lovers. It was okay in the initial parts of the show where it was mostly pining but after they got together, the lack of chemistry really shows. It just doesn't feel right seeing them together. It lacks a certain spark that makes you want to squeal at the sight of them.
- The acting in general can be lacking. Certain emotional scenes lack the emotional support and some scenes are filled with awkward silences. I know they are there for dramatic effect but it's just weird when it happens in real life.
- Use of the girl to introduce angst in to their relationship. Both T and B has to find their key and B thinks the girl is T's key because he told her she was special. B of course thought special means in a romantic way and emoed over it. But T only mean special because she was someone he knew. He says he doesn't know how to explain it to B but the explanation is so easy. He then says he know the girl isn't his key but spent time with her to make B happy. It's just a lazy way to introduce angst and fill the run time.
- Disappointing ending to their buildup: the show has a good buildup to their relationship. The flirting, the kisses, the looks the smiles all made us want to see them together. Except after they confess, nothing big seem to have changed. They just dont make convincing lovers which is a disappointment as that point was supposed to be reward for going through all that pining.
- The lack of plot is also an issue. The thing with this show is that it doesn't really have a plot because the focus is on the development of their relationship. It was going really well until they had to introduce cliches and overused tropes. Then it became boring. I watched the last few episodes in 4x speed because nothing was happening and it did not have the fluff I was waiting for. Sure there was some fluff but it was so not satisfactory.
- Predictable and cliche plot (I could guess where the plot was going) with no plot twists or memorable moments. I just feel extremely disappointed after finishing the show. I had hopes for that couple and at the end I didn't feel anything for them.

**Conclusion**
Interesting concept but mediocre execution

Very Special BL

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Tol
T (Doctor)

Beginning: T is an ER doctor and is living a normal life until B comes to his ER after a horrible accident. T tries to save him and fails and for some reason he finds himself reliving that day again. An angel appears and tells him that he has to save B's life im order for the cycle to end. At first T is confused as to how to save him when he could only return to a few hours before B is bought in and by that time it's too late. But then the angel lets him know he could choose to go back in time further, which is something he chooses to do. B and T's relationship start off rought because T tries to warn B he is about to die but B doesn't believe him. This frustrates T to no end.

Middle: At first T thought the reason for B's death is drunk driving but after B does again, this time with no alcohol in his blood, he knew that something was up. He decides this time he needs to get closer to B. He decides to dress up, approach B and try to learn more at his side, he even become B's tutor. In order to save B, he become closer to his friends as well, even saving two of them. He soon discovers that B actually had a heart issue which explain some of this death. As they grew closer, more details sorrounding the hospital T works at start of surface. It is revealed that the hospital had a doctor who was doing illegal organ trafficking business and B's girlfriend at that time had a mother who was also a victim and some of B's friends have been victimized by this business. To keep B alive, T has no choice but to investigate this problem. In his investigation, he also discovers B's girlfriend is only dating B because he could help her mother and she actually had another boyfriend. This leads to B breaking up with her. With each loop, B and T gets closer and finally they kiss.

End: Before they could have their happy ending, B and T decides to attend a conference that might help them in their investigation. But in a shocking turn of events, T is shot and dies. Stricken by grief, B doesn't know what to do until he remembers T telling him about the angel. He goes to find the angel who agrees to give him a chance to bring T back as long as he makes him fall in love with him in 5 days. With no choice, B agrees but making T like him in 5 days is not easy. However B realizes that if he could solve all the problems T had been trying to solve and do the right thing, he could still succeed. He eventually do and passes the test and the series ends with T coming back and then kissing.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- Very nice writing. Although there are a lot of cliche and predictable plot points (such as hospital being front for organ trafficking or the girlfriend of ML betraying him so he had a reason to break up with her, etc), they are put together in an interesting way that keep in interested. The concept is very interesting and well executed, done in a way that doesn't make things over complicated.
- Very nice and likable characters. T was calm and collected but had his own trauma and flaws. B was adorable at the end and truly care of T. Although there aren't many intimate scenes, they show their affection through action and grief. The characters do have chemistry and seeing them together is really satisfying.
- I love the idea that B get to experience the loop at the end.

WHAT I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT
- The ending was too short. I would have liked to see them together because getting there has been very difficult.
- The plot can get a little plain. There were some plot twists that surprised me but overall, the mystery is predictable and cliche, and seen multiple times before.
- The acting can get a little...unnatural in scenes where the actors have to display strong emotions. For example anger and grief aren't exactly that well displayed. In general the acting is fine and there aren't many cringey scenes.

**Conclusion**
Interesting ground hog day type of BL that should be watched.

Absolutely Adorable

**Brief Synopsis**
Story starts when T accidently sends a message to the wrong person and B pretends to be that person because T was offering the camera he wanted. After the ruse ended, they still continued to chat and slowly they start falling for each other. Story ends after the quarantine is over and they get to meet and perhaps move in together.

**My Opinion**

THINGS I LIKED ABOUT THIS
- Absolutely adorable little story. It can be finished very fast and leaves you wanting more. The leads are adorable together and once they meet up, their intimate little gestures are adorable.
- Absolutely loved the age difference.
- The male leads are gorgeous together. Absolutely loved them visually.
- The acting was on point for their characters.

THINGS I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT THIS
- No plot. Just a series of video calls followed by a last scene where they finally meet up.
- The angst was a little weird. Once again the angst is because of miscommunication.

**Conclusion**
An adorable feel good type of show.

Sweet Manager-Employee BL

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Intern): Seung Hyeon
T (Manager): Kim

Beginning: B is a new intern at T’s company. They start out as strangers but soon because of work they start getting more time to interact. From the beginning, B is obviously attracted to T because his approach has an effect on him. And from the beginning, T shows interest in B, not only getting him to sit in on a meeting he shouldn’t be at but also getting him to work with him on an important project.

Middle: Not before long, T kisses B and asks him out. They have to keep it a secret but they still find ways to keep it romantic at work.

End: But before they could have their happy ending, B sees a pen engraved with the initials of the person who broke his heart in school. Realizing that T had dated, B leaves runs away, unable to accept the situation. Later, T finds him, after realizing what had happened, and apologizes and wishes for a second chance to better understand him. B agrees and vows to be more honest in the future. Later B applies to be a regular employee but doesn’t get in. T upon hearing his quits the company and opens a new company and hires B to work for him.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- I love the two women B tells his experiences with T to. These two love to compare his experience to BL manga. It’s like breaking the fourth wall.
- I love their subtle acts of affection while on company hours, such as holding hands while taking a nap on his shoulder.
- I really like how romantic T is, bringing him out to dinner and setting up a private movie viewing.
- I like how everyone is not satisfied with T but can’t do anything with him because he brings in half of the company’s profits.
- I’m glad the angst made both of them grow emotionally and changed their relationship for the better.
- The acting is pretty on point. The characters have chemistry and I could easily feel the awkwardness that usually comes with first love. They look so happy together, it’s really magical.
- I liked the camerawork on kissing scenes. It makes fake kissing less noticeable.
- I loved the ending where T quits the company when corrupt business practices refused B as an employee. They ended up opening a new company together.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT
- Angst once again caused by a lack of communication but at least this time it was resolved quickly because T is an adult who knows what he wants.
- There are a lot of cliches but they don’t make the story bad.

**Conclusion**
Simple boss-employee relationship story.

Typical BL

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Journalist): Onoe
T (Journalist): Kaburagi

Beginning: B and T are journalists in the same company. One day B is transfered to T's department and they are forced for to work together. T's job is to take pictures of celebrities and potential scandals. At first, T doesn't like B because he isn't used to this new position. B doesn't like T because he is player and thinks he's all that. But T starts proving himself to have a gentle and nice side.

Middle: They start getting more jobs together after the success of their first one. Soon they start developing feelings for each other but they show it in different ways. T kisses B and tells him it's because he wants to see how he would react. He confesses but B isn't sure what kind of like it was. They seem to ignore this confession and continue to work together.

End: The series ends with them finally addressing the confession after a while and sleep together.

**My Opinion**

THINGS I LIKED ABOUT IT
- The main couple look good together including the intimate scene, they look good together but this scene has no emotional impact on me because I wasn't invested in this couple.
- Relatively angst free viewing experience.

THINGS I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT
- Acting is bad when displaying complex emotions, making the scene feel unnatural.
- The lack of build up for the relationship. We have no idea how they fell for each other because there was no clue they even had feelings and the next episode B says he had fallen for T. T confesses as well but it just felt more like a joke because there was no buildup.
- The plot is predictable and cliche with no memorable moments.
- Lack of chemistry between the leads. They look really cute together but when they are together it's difficult to believe there was anything more then friendship.
- The development of the relationship confused me. The two MCs are emotionally stunted idiots who just won't talk to each other. The angst felt so forced it wasn't even funny. I felt absolutely nothing because this couple had no build up and given any reason why I should care. Their confession at the end mean nothing to me either. This whole love plot felt so forced and rushed it's not at all romantic.

**Conclusion**
Simple story with no memorable moments.

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- Fluffy feel good BL with lovable characters. I loved the main couple, they look so cute together.
- The pacing is good. Not too slow and not too fast.
- Acting is good as well, very convincing acting and successfully conveyed the affection between the two characters.

WHAT I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT
- Way too short. Would have loved to see more of their daily life.
- Full of cliche but because the story is cute, this can be forgiven.

**Conclusion**
Short, feel good show.

B (Student): Kawi
T (Student): Pisaeng

B had a crush on this girl but because he was too cowardly to confess, the girl ended up marrying T. 10 years, B is extremely unhappy with his life, until he gets a magical snow globe that can send him back in time. B decides to use the globe to get the girl he wants. After trying a few things including preventing T from being her secret buddy, B returns to the present to see if anything worked. To his shock, the only thing that changed is that T suddenly confesses to him at he and that girl's wedding. Knowing that T has a crush on him, B goes back in time once again and try to get T to tell the girl the truth and accept his own feelings. Even though at that point he still couldn't accept T's feelings, he was still open to being friends.

Middle: B has yet to give up on making things perfect or ending up with the girl. After changing a few other things B returns to the present and finds himself famous. The girl is marrying some someone else and he lost T. He realizes after that day he actually cared about T more then anything else. He goes back to the past, this time he tells T the truth about his time travel and says he wants to be with him. T agrees and they start dating.

T even proposes to break up with B if it can help him but B refuses and tells T to simply enjoy the present and what will pass will pass. T goes back to the present and is told B recovers. The series ends with them happy together, discussing future wedding plans.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- I really like the concept of the show. It's time travel with a twist. The plot might appear predictable at first but there are numerous lessons to be learned about being in the now and not let needless thoughts about the future make your current life a mess.
- I like B and T's interactions. This is not really a fluff show but it is real and their interactions are adorable and full of love. While there are not many intimate scenes, the actors do a great job in conveying the characters mental state to the audience.
- The acting really is good, not only from the ensemble cast but from the main characters. Sure there were moments where acting isnt as good, but key moments, everything was on point. The main characters really do have chemistry together.
- I like how this show tackles the issue of discovering ones sexual orientation. The revelation part is very realistic and I love how supportive Ts mother is.
- I love how the angst doesn't come from misunderstandings. The main angst comes from not knowing who you are and what you want and the pain you cause others while you struggle to find out.
- The writing is very good. This is a complicated topic because B goes back in time numerous times, which can easily make the narration confusing. However the author sis a great job at explaining all of this and don't make you wander just what is going on.
- The pacing is really great. You are always on the edge of yourself wondering just what will happen next.
- I love seeing how much insight we got in to both B and T's personality and insecurities. Not only that, their characters have also developed quite a lot through out the series. B has grown up emotionally and learnt how to accept that nothing will be perfect but you can try your best. I love how these two are always there to support each other.

WHAT I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT
- There are a lot of talking, which can get a little boring. But I did like the characters talking things out instead of emoing on their own. However the communication isn't perfect but it is a start.
- I love and hate the time skip. Love because it shows an accurate depiction of what happens to couples after they spend years together. After the honey moon is over, the love is still there but it's more subdued. B and L aren't constantly in each other spaces. They have work and other things to worry about now. They are still together more as friends and life partners. Hate because it's not very fluffy, it pulls you away from the BL world where everything is sweet, to the real world.
- I feel bad for the girl because the two boys she ended up liking ended up dating each other. Her role is simply that of a tool to help these two realize their feelings. At least she is given a small arc instead of throwing her away once she was no longer needed.
- There is a lack of buildup explaining why T likes B. Everytime B asks, T says it's because B's cute so it's naturally to assume that T first liked B for his looks and then this feeling turns in to something more after they start spending time together. It also explains why at the beginning T doesn't seem to upset that B is still chasing that girl.

**Conclusion**
An interesting time travel story.

Simple Predictable Bl

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Pran
T ( Student): Pat

Beginning: B and T are rivals because their parents are rivals as well. However one day they decide to stop fighting and exchanges numbers, starting a friendship. The more time they spend together they more they start to see each other's good points. Even if at the beginning B is not all that enthusiastic about spending a lot of time with T even if they called a truce but T is insistent, always there. They start thinking about each other when they are apart. Despite this their relationship is slow because T still seem to like girls, talking to different girls. There is also a girl he likes. B is obviously not too happy about it but still doesn't know why he's feeling that way. But before he confess to the girl, he realizes he likes B and goes to find him. Because he doesn't know what to say and is confused about his feelings, they kiss but the whole exchange ends up on a sad note with B leaving.

Middle: Despite having not confirmed their relationship, something has changed. They stated flirting more, getting more intimate and even made a bet that whoever first falls in love loses. But B soon gives in, using the excuse that he needs Ts help on a play. They start officially dating at that point but in secret.

End: Before they could have their happy ending, they are discovered by their parents and they have a big fight. B and T run away together, not wanting to break up. When they come back however, the parents obviously softened so in order to give them some time, B and T pretend to break up until graduation. Eventually the parents finally gave in and they became lovers again. The series ends with a few years after graduation showing B and T's life. Although they are still together, they aren't always together as they have to go on business trips. This is a realistic ending that gives us hope they will stay together for the rest of their life.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- I really like their cute little interactions. Even if they cant be obvious about their relationship but they still finds ways to show affection. I loved the scene B gives T his shirt.
- Although the ending is bittersweet in some sense but I like how realistic it is. And since they are still together and their parents have accepted them in some way, I count this as a happy ending.
- I like how the girl T used to like for her own happy ending. The show didn't treat her as a simple tool.
- I like the efforts they go through to convince everyone they have given up. Although it's sad they have to do this but the boys actually seem to enjoy their situation.
- I really enjoy the fact that these boys actually communicate and solve problems together as a couple. I'm happy to see two lovers despite their parents refusal still finds a way to be together while finding ways to get their parents to accept them. They don't give up for one of them doesn't run away. I'm glad the angst don't make them break up.
- The leads really did have great chemistry together. They do a great job in making the affection between B and T realistic and believable. Although there aren't many intimates scenes, we can still feel their love.

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT IT
- The plot is very predictable and cliche. Everything revolves around their relationship. If you aren't interested in that them the plot is very thin and boring.
- The family drama is also predictable. I actually liked the part where they try to find out what made their parents fight but unfortunately nothing came out of it.

**Conclusion**
A simple relatively angst free BL.

Lack Of Communication

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Third
T (Student): Khai

- Beginning: T and B are students at the same school. T is a player, changing girlfriends quickly. B is in love with T and is used to T's antics and accepting to simply be a friend until T starts prioritizing girls over him, ditching him to go on dates. The first half of the show is B sad over T's actions.

- Middle: After a while, B bad enough and decides to distance himself from T. T realizes this and starts missing B's presence. Just as he thought he was only missing the friendship, he sees B with someone else and feels hurt and jealous. He then knew he liked B in that way. However B isn't that ready to accept him. T perseveres, slowly softening B.

End: Before they could have their happy ending, a misunderstanding undoes everything T has done up to this point to soften B. He tries to explain but B won't listen. Their friends takes B's side. This would have continued if it wasn't for the fact that B finds out that all their friends has ditched T for a trip related to their film project. Feeling bad that no one has told T, he immediately goes to find him, and they talk, explaining the misunderstanding. B finally decides to forgive him. The series ends with them together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT
- The acting is pretty okay from the main characters and the ensemble cast. It doesn't feel cringey or seem awkward.

WHAY I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT
- The plot is predictable and cliche and full of overused BL tropes. The writing is just boring, the whole store simply following a set formula. It's not a fluffy show; it's frustrating and annoying and should have been alot better if the main characters simply talked more invested of simply sitting there in silence with their mouth open. for example the misunderstanding at the end, when B have him the chance to explain clearly, he didn't. B had to hear the explanation from a common friend. It's frustrating seeing them not talking and end up fighting again.
- The characters aren't likable and the main couple shouldn't have gotten together. From what I can see, they don't fit with each other at all, and dating would certainly lead to more heartbreak in the future. T is a jackass and B is afraid to tell anyone how he is truly feeling. Together they will end up fighting again for some other misunderstanding.
- Its way too dramatic for my tastes and it's only drama. There isn't an underlying plot. Everything revolves around romance. Because nothing really happens to the characters, when the romance doesn't attract you, the show simple becomes boring. The drama is also boring and feels useless. Its always the same thing over and over again.

**Conclusion**
A series of angst stemming from a lack of communication. It's a show I won't be revisiting.

Interesting Story with A Great Premise

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Writer): Gene
T (Actor): Nubsib

Beginning: B is a BL write whose series is getting a TV series. During the casting for this series, B meets T, a new actor interested in acting one of the male leads. From the start, T shows a lot of interest towards B and even asks the help of B’s friend, who just happens to be his manager, to convince B to let him stay at his loft. Because T says he has no place to live, B agreed. As they start living together, T tries numerous ways to flirt with B, including asking him for help rehearsing lines and then kissing him in the name of practice. Slowly but surely, B starts to feel other feelings for T as well.

Middle: While their relationship develops, T continues to act in the drama he had auditioned for, the one based on B’s book.

End: Before they could have their happy ending, there are three obstacles. First while on a trip to his family home, B realizes that T has lied about everything, that he was actually his childhood friend and that he actually had a place to stay. Devastated, he tells T to get out, but T doesn’t. In the morning, T explains to him the reason he lied was to get B to stop looking at him as a kid. Although B ends up forgiving him, he still asks T to move out so they could start afresh. Apart from this problem, the couple also dealt with letting their parents know about their relationship. Finally, on a trip to the beach, videos of them being intimate on the beach is uploaded, making fans of the upcoming series furious that he wasn’t single. In order to save this show B and T are ordered to stay apart for a while until it dies down. B knows its for the best so despite how sad it was making him, they stopped meeting up for some time. The series end with them getting back together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- I like how they showed how a BL show is produced from casting to final marketing. I like how the ensemble cast isn’t too cringey or awkward.
- I like the plot a lot, because it’s new and not everything is focused on the relationship. Apart from the relationship, the whole series production thing is also very interesting to watch.
- I really like how the main characters looked together. They are a cute couple and the way B shows affection, careful and sweet, is just heart melting. Sure B is gloomy most of the time but when he smiles, normally because of T, it’s extremely sweet.
- The editing was nice and the pace was nice. It’s not too fast or too slow and their relationship feels well developed and not rushed.
- I like how B isn’t thinking T is cheating on him.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT
- I didn’t like they spent a lot of time developing a het relationship.
- B can get a little gloomy but that is part of his personality.
- I didn’t like how many characters they tried to develop.
- There is a lack of intimate scenes, and kissing scenes are weird because they give a detail look of the kiss and its obvious it’s fake kissing, I would have preferred if they only showed it from afar.
- Acting can get a little too much, especially when it comes to side characters. They tend to exaggerate their moments, making certain characters rather cringey.
- This is really slow burn as they officially get together in the last episode (they get together earlier then that but there were always things threatening to split them up but now with everything resolved, they are together).

**Conclusion**
This is an adorable show with an interesting plot that should be given a chance.
