A Little Thing Called First Love

Very Slow and Draggy
The story is very slow, you can watch the first episodes then skip all the way through episode 30 and it will be as if you did not miss a thing. I haven't watched a chinese drama that has 20+ episodes as filler hahaha. This is also very wholesome. No kiss whatsoever, maybe because female lead is really young in real life, she was only 16 years old when they did this series. It's very light and fluffy, even your cat can watch it hahaha. The only saving grace of this series for me is the second male and female lead, they brought excitement to the series. If not for them, this would have been really indigestible.Cet avis était-il utile?

Feels like Fated to Love You
I really love this story, it's mature and grown up. I like how this is not the usual domineering male lead and weak female lead. Instead, it's reversed! The female lead is a domineering CEO and the male lead is a down-to-earth doctor. However the female lead is not annoying, she kind of grows on you and becomes so likeable. The male lead is an eye candy, he looks boy-next-door and is very charming. The kid who played their son is smart and adorable. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a mature drama that talks about marriage, divorce, co-parenting, and a reconciliation that's so sweet!Cet avis était-il utile?

Best I have watched for 2020
I absolutely love this! I love this as much as A love so Beautiful. The leads' chemistry are superb! They are both likeable and you kind of wish they end up together in real life. The story is heartwarming and shows patriotism. I like how they show love and how this love can inspire young people to reach their dreams. I cant imagine how much they trained to prepare for their roles. Yu Bing really looked like a hockey player and Tang Xue a speed skater. I also loved the story of second leads Zhen Yu and Meng Huan. Their love story is so likeable as well. Their story can be a TV series on its own. I also loved the ending where they paid tribute to real athletes of China. This is a 10/10.Cet avis était-il utile?
The Sweet Love Story

The best one from the same writer
A love so beautiful, Put your head on my Shoulder, and The Love Equations is written by the same writer. For me, The Love Equations is the best among the three. The pain that the FL went through was so realistic. It would all pull us back to the time when we first broke our hearts, how we got over it (or thought so), and how we found love again after that tremendous pain. It's not just a fluffy drama. It dealt with young love, how it can be sweet and bitter at the same time.
Prepare to cry a couple of times and feel that as if your heart is being quenched in your chest while watching this drama.

Waste of Talent
I dropped this at episode 7. The storytelling is so jumpy and slow. It's so confusing like there's so many "Why". Such a waste of talent when ML and FL are doing their jobs so well in acting but the story given to them is a crap! The writers doesn’t seem to be sure how they really want to portray the male lead, if he will be a dominating CEO or a dumb one.I watched Eden Zhao in Le Coup de Foudre as second ML and I really wanted to see more of him, didn't expect to be disappointed to see him as main role in this lousy story!
I can’t bear anymore, I will drop this for Begin Again. I hope it has a better storyline than this one!

A total waste of male leads
The brothers who are male leads in this drama is a total waste of talent. They are both eye candies and they act so well but the main story of this drama is crap!It looked promising if you read the synopsis, but hopping on board was a disappointment. They should have focused on the plot that the female lead was a promising voice talent, why did she suddenly have to be the main lead's housemaid because of the mother's desperate attempt at matchmaking??? WHHHHHHHHHYYYYY!!!
Also, why do the leads have mental disorders. The male lead is bipolar (as said by his mom), and the female lead has a weird sickness that she freezes/faints when there's a trigger to her childhood trauma and the psychologist said she might be cured if she finds true love??? WHAT THE???
I hope to see the male leads in a different drama that can really make them shine and not a crappy story like this. So disappointing :(

Sorry, I had to drop this!
This drama is not for me. I couldn't go past Episode 3. My reasons for dropping:1. The female lead is a college student that acts like an 8-year old. Her attempt at trying to be cutesy is so annoying!
2. The backstory is too unreasonable. He held that grudge and anger for 10 years for a stupid reason. The male lead is so narrow-minded and selfish. Also, he only has one facial expression, an angry face.
3. The female lead is a stalker. I don't think it's a good idea, stalking is a serious matter and it shouldn't be romanticized like this. So creepy!
How can you watch something that both ML and FL are very dislikeable?
The only saving grace of this series is team KK, the boys are all adorable but not enough for me to continue watching this.
