Muoi: The Legend of a Portrait

The show has a fine premise a horror story, but the execution isn't well thought out at all. A major plot point is completely obvious before half of the movie is even over (of course the main character is completely oblivious). You spend so much of the movie hoping for a plot twist or two so things will defy your expectations, but it never comes. It's hard to keep any air of suspense when a viewer figures out how the movie will end shortly after it starts. Then when the end of the movie does come, it feels entirely rushed.
The actors did a fine job in their roles, and the music always suited the mood well enough. Despite this, there is no way that I would find myself rewatching this movie. I barely made it through the first time watching it.

Despite the flaws of the story, the acting was absolutely superb by all involved. They made you feel for the different characters. Moon Geun Young especially did an amazing job, and she is a very versatile actress. The father/step-father was one of my favorite parts of the drama as well. Taecyeon also did surprisingly well in his role, and I found myself rooting for Jung Woo instead of Ki Hoon.
The drama probably would have been better if there were fewer episodes. Toward the middle and end, the show really started to drag on, and unnecessary events always seemed to be happening, and many events seemed to repeat themselves. I actually had to stop watching for a while after the time skip because it was so hard for me to get back into the story.
I liked most of the music in the drama and I'd definitely say that it added to the feel.
There is probably no way I would watch the drama in full again, but I wouldn't mind watching parts of the beginning over, or parts with Jung Woo and Eun Jo.
Overall, the show started out great and promising, but the plot soon got tired and old, and though the acting was amazing, it wasn't quite enough to completely save the drama.

Truly, I haven't watched many office romances, but this was a nice, lighthearted take with an easy to follow plot. It did seem to lose it's thread a bit somewhere near the end however. My favorite part was that they didn't meander with the romance and take until near the very end to get together, which is a pet peeve of mine with many dramas.
The cast all had good chemistry together, but I think the standouts were Kang Hye Jung as Wang Jung Ae and Lee Won Keun as Hwang Bo Yool. (I've apparently seen Lee Won Keun before but I don't know how I didn't remember him and his wonderful smile that absolutely lights up a room!) Truthfully, I wish we had gotten even more of them together because I'd watch a drama for them alone.
The music was fine but not particularly memorable.
