If the second half was like the first I would have given it a 9.50, and I didn't give CLOY that. My favorite director, plus SYJ made the role so relatable and realistic. But then the writers did her dirty with the psycho mom taking over and destroying everything. I also didn't like the same song being played over and over again. But the end of episode 3 is probably the best thing I've ever watched on T.V. This is a deliciously angsty relationship, and we're talking about real angst (fooling around with your friend's sibling, without them knowing anything) here. Pity they later downgraded it to 'my mom doesn't approve and at my age I only do what she wants'. However, it's the first kdrama I've ever watched, and, again, the first half was absolutely brilliant.

Such a glorious angsty relationship. Love it when the ML is not the typical flowerboy. Takes the past connection trope and twists it upside down. Loved the 2nd ML (esp. with exposed forehead). The hospital scene at the end of ep. 13 was brilliant, and so was the message at the end. I'm sure CLOY had at least three references to this drama, which was a great way for the writer to show her appreciation (e.g. the Rat's new profession at the end). I just wish the FL wasn't so over the top though. It made her much less relatable. Cet avis était-il utile?

Hyun Bin is a god (though I only knew Son Ye Jin before this, and that's the reason I watched it). Great UST, but it was kinda ridiculous to not see when or even if it was resolved. These are almost forty year olds, who even had the house(s) to themselves. Such an unnecessary past connection backstory though. Also, it's such a pity that this writer is so unwilling to write relatable FLs. Lastly, and I know that this is a highly unpopular opinion, I didn't like the way Seri completely disregarded the fact RJH was in a serious long term relationship with someone he'd promised to marry. We know it was an arranged marriage and that he'd told Dan he had feelings for another woman, but Seri didn't seem to know that. Cet avis était-il utile?
