Which is strange, because when I started watching it was like: OMG, why do they play so poorly? What is this with the dialogues and faces? But somewhere around episode 3 or 4 it really took me in. In the end I really enjoyed it and would love to see the continuation.
Maybe the actors needed some time to roll in as well. I liked the girl, who in the end sounded and looked really sincere, when talking to Takane, and I liked this superfluous way of speaking that Takane has. Though the drama is really short, you manage to understand the character of each of the 4 main leads. They are all different, and though due to lack of time in the series they are all quite schematic, you do see the difference. That is more, than many other dramas can boast, in which charachters often seem to be made by one sample.
Besides, do remember that Japanese have very peculiar sense of humour, which you should also be ready for while watching this drama. Hope you'll enjoy it too!

The story is far from original, but good classics can shine anew if put into the right light. That's not the case here. The plot is dragging like a snail through all 16 series, becoming just a little bit more lively in the 15th episode. The girl makes big eyes for the boy she likes, he insults her, he is rude to her, but all she does - follows him clumsily stumbling on every step and talking like a 5-year old. Oh, yeah, she cries a lot too.
The acting is terrible. I don't think I can remember anything so disgusting as the acting of the main leads. It is even more amazing, because I saw Park Shin Hye in many other dramas and know that she is a very decent actress. The male always showing strange grimaces when talking to the girl he likes and all other people around him, talks to himself a lot asking various rhetorical questions or elaborating what he thought at this or that point. The same goes for the heroine. The heroine is just so week-headed and feeble-minded that I'm not sure whether I was more anoyed by her, or pitied her. Jeremy was a bit off sometimes, but he at least can be taken for a lively character. Shin-woo was the best among them to my mind.
The only not so bad thing here was music, but to my taste there was not enough variety, so the main song became threadbare by the end of the drama.
All in all the drama has 0 rewatch value to me. The Japanese version is so much better, though it also has its negative sides. I would not recommend it to anyone who likes logical and thought-out relationships and deeds, deep emotions without trickly sentiments, an interesting male lead or a decent heroine who has at least a little bit of her own judgement.

The story is laid out very good and to the full. No illogical or irrational twists that bother me so much in many k-dramas. And some phrases said by the main characters make you really think deeply about importance of simple trust and small everyday things, that are often tend to be overlooked, forgotten.
Music is a perfect background for every scene, and silence as well. It becomes overwhelming in private scenes, making you concentrate on your own feelings, making you tremble with emotions, because you live them out together with the characters. The last song was an absolutely perfect choice for the last scene. And the tears do tend to stream down your face as the culmination of all calamities you've been through with the heroes.
Cast is absolutely gorgeous to my taste. I fell in love with Kim Go Eun since whatching the "Cheese in the trap". She perfectly portrays her character and you can't doubt here sincerety even once. Hae In always acts very emotionally and sincere. So together they form a perfect romantic and emotional alliance. The director did a great job, because everything looks so atmospheric, so warm, and scneces are though out to the tiniest details, shade of light, glance or move. Definitely worth your time!

Amazing Acting and Perfect Plot
I hope that this drama will be valued by many, because it is an example of perfect team work of all the crew. The plot is well though through and always leaves you wondering what's coming next. I haven't seen such a tense and dramatic story for quite a while. I just couldn't stop myself from starting the next episode right after finishing the previous one. And in the end, though the ending was balanced and good, I wished for more. The story is well written, all main characters have their own histories, and it is put in such a way that you don't get bored, but somehow being drawn in their lives until the point when you sympathise with each of them.
The main theme is demanding, but also so understandable to anyone. That helplessness that you feel, when someone with more power, money, connections gets the best in life and tramples over less fortunate ones. Through the prism of personal tragedies of the main heroes it didn't seem pompous or artificial, but very human and heart-breaking sometimes.
The cast is awesome. Kim Bum proved once again his talents, and the chemistry they have with Ryu Hye Young is superb. I so wished to see more hints that they stay together in the end, but the slight mist of unspoken words didn't make it less good. There is enough cute scenes, in which you see the real emotions and can guess all the rest. Anyway this romantic tint was a perfect find, adding even more human touch to the show. I often miss this in investigative dramas. What is also important each character undergoes changes, but never steps out from the character itself. I saw many shows, where main character who in the beginning was a certain type suddenly changes into something else, when his deeds and behaviour become inconsistent as if it is a completely different human being. Good script in this drama and awesome acting never gives you this kind of dissapointment.
Music is very good. I've added a few new songs to my playlists. Every song is in its place highlighting the atmosphere and so memorable, that I know if I hear it anywhere else the scenes from the show will float before my eyes.
I recommend the show to all who like tense mind-twisting mysteries, but it would be also good for those who like criminal shows focused on human stories, which are being brough before the law.
