In love with Korean dramas, OST songs, older kpop and KNK ;;u;;

I keep a collection of quotes from dramas that really touch me, and I'll keep a few short half-long ones on display here (might switch them out once in a blue moon). It could be heartfelt confessions of love, lessons learned in life, expressions of grief or just some funny jargon. Most of them, thoug, are related to the expression of deep emotions in a well articulated way. **Spoilers might occur, you've been warned**

"I couldn’t sleep a wink all night. Because it felt like my head was going to explode. This too. What can I do with this? If I erase this… it feels like I’ll be erasing that night I spent with you. So I can’t. I know it doesn’t make sense. The fact that physically written letters and flowing time have no point of contact - I’m aware of that. But my heart feels that way. What is this? The woman you are… I can’t understand you, despite the countless additions and subtractions, and no functions fit who you are. So you are a bug. You’re weaving through my head, my life, but that bug… I don’t want to fix it. I just… wish it would stay in my head. What should I do with this? Should I fix it? Or not?"
— Je Su Ho, Lucky Romance, ep. 10.

"Try it. It’s warm. Warm food has the power of comforting people. When you’re sick or cold, you eat warm food. You may think warm food only soothes your body, but it also soothes your heart... When it is prepared by a gorgeous man, it’s even more effective."
Dinner Mate.

"Do you like anyone?"
"I’m almost forty. I’m over the hill. It’s too late for love."
"You’re scared, aren’t you?"
"What?"
"You’re afraid of dating, receiving new work from your promotion, getting more responsibilities… Even eating pancakes here is scary. You realized at this age that you’ve only worked your whole life but you don’t know what to do or what you want to do. Now that you’re older, you’re afraid you can’t just say you don’t know. You’re afraid of challenging the unknown and failing. You’re afraid of your 30s ending just like that. You even regret that you’ve put all your passion into your work..."

— Togawa & Nozue, Old Fashion Cupcake, ep. 1.

"You’re not fine at all, are you? ''The people here are all unfortunate people who have lost their child. So what am I doing here? Why am I in the middle of these people?'' That’s what you’re thinking. That’s what I thought too. When I was with people who knew what I was going through, it felt like they couldn’t even laugh because of me. And when I was with people who I don’t know, I couldn’t laugh with them because I felt like I don’t deserve to laugh after losing my child. In the end, I came here looking for people in the same situation as me. But even then I felt out of place with all these unfortunate people. Coming here doesn’t make things any better. Each of us has to figure out on their own how to live with this. Here you can see that so many people die each day. ''Not me. And definitely not my child,'' I don’t understand how I could have believed that."
— Jun Eun Seok to a mother at a support group for parents of deceased children, Hi Bye, Mama!, ep. 4.

"Feeling pain means you’re alive. Pain resides inside of us, and our lives come to an end with pain. If someone by your side is sharing in your suffering, the weight of the suffering will lessen and the courage to embrace the suffering will increase. Acknowledging and sharing another person’s pain… This is my final prescription which will go away only when life ends."
— Cha Yo Han, Doctor John, ep. 32/ending scene.
