Suffers from perfect ML syndrome
I really enjoyed it, everything was perfect, the chemistry, the town, the characters, a flawed FL, until they revealed his supposedly haunting past, what's really upsetting was that they tried so hard to make him blameless, his guilt seemed overkill. He could've just been an overconfident broker or whatever at the start of his career that gave a well intentioned advise that turned sour and started a chaine of reactions b/c it could happen to anyone and it would have added a little dimension to his character and made his back story more relatable, heck him not giving him a warning would have been enough but no! they had to make him mr perfect and by doing that the crumbs about his past that was given through the show didn't make sense (his son blaming him, him giving them money for something he didn't do and to someone he barely knew ...ect) It felt like they changed the story halfway through.
