Both have similar plots since Kaew Lom Petch is a remake of Luerd Hong.

In both stories a woman switch babies, although for different reasons.

The Male lead has a brother in KLP who is a playboy, similar character exists in LH only he is the female leads biological brother (although they don`t know it) this time.So FL actually has 2 biological brothers in LH.

The main leads do have more encounters in KLP.

These lakhorns have A LOT in common.

Both have the step-siblings trope.

ML has child-hood trauma where his father used to neglect him.

ML is against his father for marrying another woman, thinking the woman is yet another gold-digger.

ML thinks at first FL is the same as her mother, but he quickly falls in love with her.

In both lakhorns Main-leads challenge each other at first, they also end up working in the same company where he is her boss.

A case of man torn between the wife and the mistress.

In both lakhorns the FL (wife) is extremely gentle and forgiving while the ML is selfish and weak.

In "Nam Sor Sai" its worse because they have been married for a long time and have two kids together. The betrayal is much hard to bear because of that.

Both versions are adaptions of the same novel "Torranee Ni Nee Krai Krong ".

Both can also be found with english subtitles.

The version with Nadech & Yaya is more fleshed out and developed with more scenes between the main-leads and supporting characters.

In the 1998 version Athit falls for Toon and even gets engaged with her, while in the 2012 version Athit never loved Toon, but only loved Nee from the start.

I think both versions are precious and have their own charm but still carries the essence of the slow-burn love-story of Athit and Nee. The characters are portrayed splendid by both main-leads.

In both lakhorns Andrew Gregson stars as the male protagonist.

Both lakhorns are done without the unnecesary crazy drama where women scream and slap each other.

Both Male-leads share the trauma of being abandoned when they were kids, and they both avoid that parent when they grow up.

Both lakhorns doesn`t rely much in the romance, especially "Mai Muang" which barely has any romantic scenes.

There is heavy amount of drama and angst in both lakhorns.

For both antagonists their past crimes catches up with them in form of karma.

Both lakhorns has this huge family dynamics with many family members.

There is a certain vendetta in the air in both lakhorns, where one family`s mistake from the past gives karma to the new generation.

In "Massaya" we have FL´s grandfather against ML´s grandmother, while in "Roy Marn" we have FL´s grandmother against ML´s father.

Both Main-leads argue when they first meet, although in "Massaya" they become friends pretty fast.

Both FL´s are stubborn and spirited tomboys.
