OMG! Yes Please !!!

I started this drama because of a silly habit of mine ! i tend watch the entire portfolio of an actor so a Kris Fan Binge session brought me here ! And let me tell you I DO NOT REGRET IT !!!!!
First Aesthetics : Production is on point for this is a military /airforce themed drama . Uniforms, decor, nothing is too outrageous! Obviously they are not jet-recording up there so obviously the CGI would kick in every now and then , it's forgivable
Second Casting: Do you ever watch something and everyone seems to perfectly be who they are supposed to be ! the difference between seasoned actors and rookies is merely attached to character flaws so they don't necessarily jump out ! after all it's a bunch of teenagers with all sorts of state of minds. Even the extras with no lines have the most apropos body language/facial expressions!
Third Acting: There is one MAJOR FLAW in the Adult Male Lead, dude's acting went full Telenovela by the end (hopefully you get what i mean , kinda south-american sunday morning Sitcom style) I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY ! i feel like it was done on purpose to counter balance that last plot point (it was kinda heavy , no worries i won't spoil it !) Main cast doesnt ever brake character at all .
Rewatch : let's put it this way, i'm planning an online sychronized movie night (yay-Covid -_-) to introduce it to some of my friends !
One last thing AND MY FAVORITE THING TO EVER HAPPEN IN A DRAMA :
All 6Main teen Characters having a life of camera !!!!! it's like you see them grow as time goes by , falling in love included , and it isn't just like suddenly in your face, you can definitely tell something happen without needing to see it , when you meet them again you see their new self !!!! beautifully written !!!!!!!!

Oh! My Dear ! Let me tell you a story !

IT'S A GOOD STORY ! A story so good, no matter how hard they try to mess it up THEY CAN'T!!!!
STORY: It's another one of them Officer/Medic dramas ! it does honor to the genre (so far!) unique in it's own , different from YAMH and DOTS(not to name them all!) The problem is the production! You can tell the writer was out of their elements trying to fluff it into 40 episodes, trying really hard not to dilute it. Including slice of life and secondary conflicts here and there to make it Lenghty. It would have been so much more amazing if it stayed concise and compact with a banm banm banm chain of events because let me tell you : The Core of the story is AMAZING and it's moving quite nicely! The mind buggling unnecessary adjacent like the forever screaming cousin going through her own awakening, The self-centered heartless wench of a heart-surgeon in need of a good sit-down and so on is tiresome and robs you of the intensity said drama would need!
OH AND THAT FRIEND .... unnecessarily dumb, selfish and imprudent for a successful career woman but they had to give her screen time to make space! Who needs enemies when you have friends like that! i can't wait for the FL to send her packing!
ACTING: NO complains at all !!!! Even said screaming cousin is so good at what she does ! FL is a little on the nose but on brand with the character, she's built to drive him insane but doesn't and that's what fascinates him hence " Da Luv" XD ! ML is played by an actor who has very well lived in a uniform all his life so i'm sure this was a peice of cake for him!
MUSIC: Entirely forgettable so far ! Definitely not an OST you'll add to your playlist later on if you ask me
REWATCH: Meh! it would be a simple and fun rewatch , you'd end up skipping all the adjacent slice of life i guarantee ! straight to love and war because that's what matters and that's what is so good about this drama!

Could be better !

Beautifully executed story !!! Main Characters ML & FL are very well crafted !
it's a shame every one else is a little one-dimensional and on the nose ! it's a collection of classic characters simply moving about ! And quite a collection at that , made the drama long with so many moving part that could easily be clipped without affecting the general outcome of it all!
Actors are on point though ! no flaws in anyone's performance!
The tone is lost and the tension fails to rise as the story lingers a bit too long! It is a well crafted story , i blame production !
