Was this really necessary?
I have to start this by saying that I already didnt like the first season. Neither Lian x Kuea nor Diao xYi were interesting. I only started watching the second season/special because of Syn and Nuer, who were the only likeable characters like everone else was like a plain white canvas. I mean ofc they all had pretty good chemistry but that didnt save the lack of plot for me. Anyway the whole thing about the wedding and the conflict they created just felt incredibly dumb to me. I just think they couldve ended with the first season and leave it as that and not squeeze some extra story out of an already boring plot. I dont hate the show I feel pretty neutral about it tbh it just annoyed me that it felt like they put no heart into the second season/special.anywayyy very mediocre

beautiful story
I loved this concept so much, I honestly hope that the meteorite hit because it would just make this a very well rounded drama. I love the glimpse of hope we get but I would just love if despite everything there is no way to stop the inevitable so I'll just expect them to die. The whole love story between masumi and ritsu was honestly so natural and sweet. they felt like real people who weren't good nor bad like they both had their flaws but they loved each other and that is enough. Ritsu waiting for masumi to like him again even though they only have a few days left is so beautiful to me.Cet avis était-il utile?

Amnesia Plot done right
This brought me back from my BL slump I have been in recently. I normally don't like Amnesia plots because they feel very forced and unnecessary to me but in Jack O´Frost they did it right. The whole story revolved around Ritsu trying to remember his time with Fumiya and falling in love all over again, while Fumiya realises that he needs to work on himself for their relationship to work. I loved how natural and well rounded the characters felt and how sweet they were with each other . They didn't have weird drama that felt out of place or a forced side couple it was simply them getting to know each other even more and falling in love harder after revisiting their memories. I think this is definitely a comfort BL with a big rewatch value.Cet avis était-il utile?
comfort bl
honestly I always love me a Japanese BL, they simply know what they're doing. This didn't disappoint the story was very cute and simple. we love a good workplace romance and a slight enemies to lovers arch. Also the chemistry was pretty good. I have to say I anticipated every episode and waited every week to watch it immediately after it aired (the only reason I got a GagaOOlala subscription). I will definitely watch this again and have fun with it. I feel like sometimes you just need a lighthearted and cute BL to distract yourself and I feel like this is a perfect fit.Cet avis était-il utile?
Too many couples
I started watching this knowing that there were like 5 couples in total. i already knew from the start that i simply wouldnt care about the others and exactly that happened. not one of the other couples striked my interest so i mostly even skiped through their parts. i honestly dont know why they decided to put so many couples in this, especially because team and win wouldve had enough story for a show alone. I understand that dean and pharm were in this simply because they were already in until we meet again and i really didnt mind their screentime but everything else just seemed too packed for my liking. i did tho really enjoy team and win they were already my favorite couple in uwma so i didnt expect anything else but yeah i kinda lost my joy watching because of the amount of characters and different plotlines they squeezed into this. But overall i enjoyed watching between usCet avis était-il utile?

People always hype this drama up and rate this as one of their favorite BL's. So naturally my expectations were pretty high. I was pretty familiar with the story so nothing seemed very shoking to me. But thats not really the shows fault. i personally thought that the main conlict was very unnecessary. It is not Tian's responsibility to tell everyone that he got Torfuns heart and that she died. First of all is the fact that she died known to Phupa who shouldve been the one telling the village months ago. The fact that he has hidden her death even though the villagers ask about her all the time, is cruel on his side and for me that couldve been the conflict not the other way around. Now that Tian didnt tell people about his heart transplantation is also very understandable hence this is a personal and touchy topic. The fact that he only went to the village because of Torfun was more questionable than the heart transplantation. Anyway im very Khaotung biased so as soon as his character got introduced i was captivated. I do think that the plot got better as the story went on and all in all this was a solid BL, i think i just expected more from the amount of love it gets. Still on the better side so an easy 8/10 Cet avis était-il utile?
