Blandly acted, poorly written
I went in with some expectations. In reviews I read people mentioned picturesque backdrop, cute ML and FL, awkwardly nice chemistry, decent supporting characters.The acting was bland and the writing even more so. There was no chemistry between the lead characters and it felt like they were acting to pay their rent for the month and didn't have their heart in it because they knew how bad the story was. Their effort to act well would have been a waste of energy. There were so many opportunities for the drama to redeem itself within minutes but everytime the writers went "why would I do that when I can make this even worse than it is now"
"Loud village people" cliché done VERY VERY WRONG. For comparison, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha had great "loud village people" characters.
The drama is 12 episodes long and until episode 7 we have our main lead cement himself as "I, as a person, have these characteristics" and in episode 8 we see him make a U-turn. It annoyed me to no end and I couldn't even finish the episode.

The comedy drops off as drama takes off
It has 2 absolutely hilarious scenes that are bound to make you hold your belly and inspect for any internal damages. The comedy is nice and subtle but it drops off massively as the drama steps in and takes control. Actors were decent and performed really well to showcase the mental state of the characters they portrayed.Music is forgettable except for one song and althought I enjoyed it very very much, I'll probably never rewatch this series. Highly recommended as a great one night binge series.

A great drama that failed to honour one character
They should have had Chan acknowledge his classmate's feelings towards him. She showed up whenever she was supposed to, as a partner is expected to.His races? She was there.
His practice sessions? She was there.
He needs hyping up? She was the loudest cheering him.
His friend is in need of clothes? She showed up with the best collection, even though she stole her sisters clothes but she WAS THERE. Yes she got a bit jealous but who wouldn't? She wasn't even toxic towards FL.
He won the medal? She was hanging banner on the school gate.
Leaving her feelings unacknowledged was such a weak ending for this drama that it almost hurt me.
