A Woman against Patriarchy
Honestly i was super suprised at how people reacted to the nudity in the show. i do think there can be shows where the nudity just seems obscene and unnecessary but i didn’t rlly felt this when watching the drama. they’re also some scenes where nudity isn’t connected to anything sexual and “just because”.i think if you watched this show you are probably at least over 16 and to think nudity ruins a show is honestly crazy thinking to me.
The story is so much more but people only ever talk about omg boob here breast there like wow… are y’all really so immature?!
i can understand that they’re some people that don’t like these kind of shows, but it does seem worrying when people think nudity in a drama ruins the “korean” aspect of it and its westernization of a drama (which is a crazy thing to say about a historical drama btw).
like yeah western shows in comparison show more explicit scenes than kdramas but that doesn’t make them bad? i feel like in the recent years kdramas have been way more open about explicit scenes or even just hinting about more than just kissing and to me it seems like a good direction.

Could’ve been Interesting ended up being bland
Honestly i am quite sad that i didn’t end up enjoying this kdrama. i absolutely adore somin her acting and her other dramas, and from interviews ive seen she also really enjoyed portraying the fl and the drama… but to me the drama just felt kind of boring and bland.friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and the plot could’ve been good but it just felt overdone at some point. it felt like the writer tried to write a mature adult romance but somehow still stuck with very much non mature plot lines. the bickering could’ve been cute but it was just to much in the end, and some characters where somehow not at all like able. the mom from the fl for example absolutely annoyed me.
i don’t think i’ll be rewatching this

Beautifully acted, beautifully written and beautifully angsty
I think this kdrama really is one of my fav watch from this year (2024) the acting was fenomenal.the romance felt so real and the chemistry was honestly out of the roof, i cried more than once watching this kdrama. it is so angsty yet so happy, the female lead is absolutely beautiful and just seeing her cry made me want to cry too.
the family dyniamics made me enjoy this drama even more, i cannot recommend it enough !!
The Time Travel parts actually made sense, i feel like even if you’re someone that might get confused with those things you can understand this plot really well.
