I am fascinated and moved to unimaginable…

I am fascinated and moved to unimaginable levels.

I have repeated this countless times, but I do not care. I love the chemistry between the protagonists, although it is not properly romantic. It no longer matters if their relationship will have or not romantic connotations, it simply fascinates me how Dong Hoon and Ji An communicate without extraordinary dialogues. There is so much depth in them that even uncomfortable silences are too eloquent. It is charming the way they begin to see under the skin of the other, trying to explain what inexplicable attraction exists there.

In appearance, their lives are opposite: Ji An lives in misery, Dong Hoon has fulfilled the expectations of the world. But in reality both are outcasts. Actually, both transit a lonely road. Meeting each other, even in these circumstances (god, she still is helping bad guys), changed the picture.

My Ajusshi depends completely on the details and body language. This raises drama's quality, very high.

Although the history of the brothers does not fit yet, the production is brilliant. And with each chapter, I will continue saying, this series is consolidated as one of the best kramas of the year.

The story of the parents is ruining the drama.…

The story of the parents is ruining the drama. Actually, not only it's boring to me watching the "loving" reunion between Tae Hee's mother and Shi Hyun's non-father, it alters my nerves every scene of Soo Ji's mom. Their actions haven't meaning, beyond stupidity and selfishness. They are horrible parents and terrible people. So, I will not talk about them, I think it's pretty obvious what will happen.

On the other hand, although I find the relationship between Tae Hee and Shi Hyun extremely tender ... I expected a longer separation. I wanted little more tension, especially after the bar scene, when drunk Shi Hyun starts to mark a difference between Soo Ji and Tae Hee. Sadly, Tae Hee gave up very quickly, considering how difficult it was to break up with him.

However, I give points to Shi Hyun. That man is lost in Tae Hee's smile (thank you, Joy, for being so beautiful), I'm fascinated by how her warmth seduces him so easily. The best: he does not do anything to avoid it, he lets himself go almost instinctively. Tae Hee is becoming a home for him, giving him security and affection, and inspiring him to think about himself. When big lie be discovered, it will will break our hearts. But I'm thinking, what happens if he first discovers who his non-father is playing with?

Another interesting thing: as Shi Hyun becomes more involved with Tae Hee, his friendship with Se Joo and Soo Ji wobbles. Deterioration of the bond they share seems extremely well thought to me. At the beginning, we saw three twisted young friends; now, when emotions and demons are being unleashed, each one's fissures starts to be revealed. Their cruelty is in fact explained as the wild impulse of repressed pains, as only way to star together to heal their past wounds.

It's undeniable that the trio is too sexy. I mean, they are locked in a forced friendship, for refusing to accept what the heart tells them. There is a deep love between them, but little by little it has been tarnished with lies and excessive pride. I have the impression they have learned to act like friend, instead of being really. Deep down, they want more than friendship. And that is leaving visible marks.

Still addicted to this drama.

My first impression of Tae Hee was broken…

My first impression of Tae Hee was broken in this chapter, and I started to see more in other characters. I thought that she just will be a innocent girl with enough bad luck to cross into Soo Ji's destructive road. But I was wrong. These girls collided in Shi Hyun's heart, dragging See Jo at the same time.

Who would believe that SHE would break up with Shin Hyun in those terms? I hope that Tae Hee stays true to her decision, it requires a lot of courage to accept that you are not enough for the person you love.

Tae Hee's introduction declared her like the good girl, or the natural opposite of Soo Jin, who is an extraordinary bitch-queen. We love them, even a little, because we know them  through their relationships with Shi Hyun: while Tae Hee is like a fresh air in his life, Soo Ji is like a icy wind that never stops. His feelings (clumsy, confused, toxic...) around them fill every moment with pasion, and we just fall for it.

However, behind romance/obsesion it is a huge and sad complex (of Electra). Their mothers left them terrible scars and made them incapable to trust in people for real, what perfectly explains why I hate their scenes so much (can someone kill Shi Hyun's not-daddy?).

The verbal exchange between Soo Ji and Tae Hee, in front of the pool where a few minutos before Shi Hyun begged her to stay by his side, was the best scene of the last four chapters. There, without witnesses, they drop the masks: we see the fragility of Soo Ji through his jealousy, and the fierceness of Tae Hee because of envy. For one moment, each one want the other's spot in Shi Hyun's heart. How hard to handle.

Now, I have to say because is making me crazy: I absoluty love shipping Tae Hee and Shi Hyun. I have to admit that the firts chapters the comunication between him and Soo Ji was too sexy; but with the inclussion of Tae Hee, the lies and manipulating actions pulverized the illusion. The sky where are dancing Shi Hyun and Tae Hee is lit with millions of fireworks; and while their relationship represents a virginal landscape where everything begins to be born ... their friendship (love not realized) with Soo Ji resembles more a withered field.

I curious about next chapter. The trio expected to play easily with Tae Hee, without suspecting the effects that her presence could have. Who is really playing here?

Four Stars

After this chapter, my favorite character is Queen Shim (King's mother). Her vision about power and family, her speach about how those aspects of life collide and destroy each other ... killed me. Usually in historical dramas we hate Queen Dowager's figure because her authority sometimes seams disproportional. Obviously, she is playing a political game with her best cards; but also represents a mother assuming the most difficult position. She is not just protecting herself, o defending her greed: damn it, the woman sacrificed her three children for a safe nation.

Even if show is going very fast (goodness, they are deep in love in just six chapters), I like a lot the marked route. I see the female characters as strongest point in drama, to me this is working for them. I adore the funnies and warm moments with Ggeut-Dan and Ja Hyeon's mom; almost as I love Yoon Na-Gyeom's fierce and Cho Yo-Kyung's sensuality.

Ja Hyeons, following her own path, has childish motivations (love can not justify everything), but also has impressive determination and sincere hearth. It's interenting when she says or does whateverer she wants in spontaneous way (I will remember for ever when she jumped into the river in fourth chapter). I hope she does not become an ornament or an obstacle.

Before, I commented about Lee Kang like a solid character ... now I'm not sure. His interactions with Ja Hyeon (and everyone?) are forced. He has a big resentment for his family, what makes his desire for the throne a stupid game sweetened with violence and bad manners. It's easy to hate him, because in fact he only wants to take all from his brothers; who, on the other hand, show us chapter by chapter what it means to suffer for the good of the royal family.

I smiled the whole chapter

It's ridiculous. I smiled the whole chapter.I decided to watch the drama for the cast (I could not imagine Bo Gum with Hye Kyo) and I definitely did not expect to find this gem. I literally felt that my heart melted with each scene, I do not know how I will survive the rest of the drama.See the smile of Bo Gum ALL THE TIME is overwhelming (it even cost me to concentrate on the subtitles), but beyond the beauty of both characters (because Hye Kyo is perfect too), the chemistry between the two captivated me completely. I think one of the most beautiful things about chemistry between Bo Gum and Hye Kyo is that it does not look like the burst of fireworks, so common in dramas (which we all love). It is not a love at first sight, it started with small details. It may seem that there is no passion between them (I think we all expected more after that sunset and the beers), but somehow I felt that it is much closer to what it really means to fall in love. They are two people who ran into one night, without haste or misunderstanding. And I think it was a great great success of the writers to give us this kind of love. There was no forced moment and the narrative, with those landscapes and colors, only reinforced the connection between the two. I think I fell in love with Cuba and in the process I fell in love with this couple. I feel there are many cracks hidden inside each one and they will try to heal each other, which predicts many tears and joys. The word that best describes the first impression produced by Encounter is undoubtedly Enchanted. And if I have to choose another I would say Beauty. Point. It will be one of the best dramas of the season.

THIS DRAMA IS GOLD

I can not believe everything that happened in a single chapter.Drunken Jin Hyuk was the cherry on the cake in this episode, poor babyboy. I am fascinated. He is carried away by the beauty and simplicity of Soo Hyun and I'm falling so easy for them. I adore them and I really love how the mutual interest they feel little by little becomes more brazen. IN ADDITION THERE IS NO FORCE, THAT IS A TREMENDOUS HIT. From the impressions I had of the first chapter I thought that the chemistry between the characters would not become passionate, but the subtle flirting they share is driving me crazy. Sometimes less is more.It only gets better and I regret with all my soul that things get complicated so soon.

If Ji An is THE badass, Dong Hoon don't…

If Ji An is THE badass, Dong Hoon don't stay behind. I definitely did not deemed him like the kind of person who confronts others savagely, until now we only saw his most stoic side. This was a great surprise.

I'm really shocked, because drama gets better and better. It has enough suspense to make you crazy, but also its characters touch you deeply. My heart crushed when Ji An started to cry, that was her firts emotional reaction and was for Dong Hoon's words. I can't handle my excitement.

Beyond wanting to match them (I do), I wanted them to achieve this connection. I'm overwhelmed. After listening to Dong Hoon threaten the idiot (with a hammer), just to protect the dignity and pride of his family, I don't think Ji An will remain indifferent. At least, she will stop feeling boring.

Inside, Ji An and Dong Hoon are so broken, I truly feel sad for them. But more than considering them regrettable, I have a lot of respect for them. Not once we have seen them protest, they are people who act are firmness. So, both are able to cross any limit for the welfare of their people, but without being totally self-denying. They flow in solitude, trying to avoid further disappointments and deceptions, enduring the fact that they don't trust anyone. That's why discovering that the other can see through the shell makes them feel embarrased and angry. They're mutually destroying their armors.

When Dong Hoon's brother knelt ... that scene hited me. I'm not capable to imagine how hard is being humilliated in that way, and in front your own mother. Those brothers... they make me uncomfortable, I still do not like to have them hanging around. But they give a certain spark to this drama. I apreciated a lot this nuance of reality that is beginning to characterize My Ajusshi.

I am more and more convinced: it will be one of the best dramas of the year.

Every important objects have female names,…

Every important objects have female names, and feels like if they have life too. Olivia's memorial serve killed me, as the "kidnapping" organized by Rebecca. I wonder what will happen to Matilda.

About Soo Ah and Doo Sik, they crossed all limits. They have seen themselves in the worst circumstances and I still wonder how this will become love. They are my favorite couple, for sure.

In other way, please give us some advance with Yoon Ah and Dong Goo. I hope the next chapter resolves the love triangle, I enjoy this frienemy with Hyun Joo, but it is becoming annoying.

Bromance was the axis of this episode. Friendship between this three men is so quirky that I only can love them. I would like them to triumph, it breaks my heart when they lose some opportunity, although they always assume the situation with humor (comercial's coffee, my gosh).

Plus, it's funny how girls just breathe deeply and accept them as they are. Maybe because they are as strange as boys.

Four Stars

I'm Soo Ah's fan. It's hilarious how she includes Doo Sik in her plans, even if he refuses. Her plans are an assured disaster. I like a lot this couple, they support each other and little by little they are growing together. The best was Doo Sik singing.

Big prize of emotional support is for Seo Jin. She and Joon Ki are super cute, their relationship is becoming mature. It is like a honey moon. I loved their calls, they gave a very intimate look to their crush, which is definitely starting to be true love.

Dong Goo... I laughted a lot with his strange meetings with Hyun Joo. Their rivalry is funny, but I'm affraid about what effects can have in Yoo Ah's life. She is trying to be succesful for her daughter, if only he understands her circumstances and feeling, maybe they can take a step forward in their relationship.

I missed Sol.

I love relationship between Ji An and Dong…

I love relationship between Ji An and Dong Hoon. It feels a strange atmosphere around them, and it's breaking my nerves. Now I'm their fangirl, I was so excited when she called him "ajusshi" and he told her "kid" that is absurd. Before the whole bribery issue, somehow he was seduced by her. But at this point, I don't know if he feels attraction or pity. If this will not be a romance (my imagination is going fast and far), at least I hope a deep conexion. Both are awesome characters, I'm a hundred porcent part of their team.

This third episode was less dark, the music helped a lot to lighten the atmosphere. But it was very intense anyway. I passed all chapter at edge of my chair, trying to understand what she was planning. Jin An is a genius, she surprise me minute by minute, and her gamer friend don't stay behind. I regret to have insulted him in the previous chapter. They did many ilegal things in such a short time that I am impressed. I don't really care about her alliance with the CEO. I know she needs the money, I want her to be able to pay off her debts soon because that loan shark is pissing me off. And all we know: she is being shaked by Dong Hoon.

I don't know what to think about Dong Hoon's brothers. I feel very sorry for them, but that's all. Maybe I really want to see them try hard, they only complain about how miserable is life while their mom is suffering a lot. For now, I enjoy a little this trio-losers concept.

Waiting for next chapter.

P.S.: Anyone else wishes the death of Dong Hoon's wife? Dear, you can drown yourself with your tears.

The reason why I enjoy so much this drama…

The reason why I enjoy so much this drama is because makes comedy with a very serious subjects. I always feel surprise how they can be so ridiculous and funny while crushed my heart with warmly's actions; each one character is broken in someway, everyone have weakness and fierness for equal and it is easy feel them like humans. Personally, I don't like comedy dramas. But I still watch Wohoo Waikiki because its characters (and their relationships) are so well made that is imposible not loved them and not want to stay beside them. They are a group of losers trying to endure their complicated and unsuccesfull lives. Watch how they grow up chapter by chapter is awsome.

Nothing in this drama feel forced and that is a great feat, specially when we speak about romance. Although my favorite couple is Joon-ki & Seo-jin (literally, I laughted for hours with Joon-ki's trauma), I enjoy very much when Doo-sik and Soo-ah interact questioning the worst of their personalities or Dong-gu tries to include himself in Yoon-ah and Sol's life. I adore every sharing's moment.

To me, the maturity prize (in the last two chapters) goes to Yoo-ah. She is putting distance between her and Don-gu for her own sake, and that speaks about how hurt she is. Plus, she needs to think in her daughter; after almost leave Sol, Yoo-ah tries very hard to be a succefull mother. I hope that Don-gu will read between lines and support her for well; love is respect other's wish, even if it have not explanation.

I have a brother, who is exactly like Lee…

I have a brother, who is exactly like Lee Jin An's friend (is he a friend?): living for a game without responsibilities. How desperating. I want punching him, so much like I want to slap Dong Hoon' s wife. And I am not even to say a word respect the directors' conspirations.

IU and Lee Seon-kyun are doing AWESOME. Their corporal languages haven't price, they are so elocuent without a single word... There exist a strange comunication between Jin An and Dong Hoon, and I love it. Dong Hoon feels atracted to Jin An, perhaps having the impression that they are similar. Yes, she stole him and, he wants to clear his name... but at the end he sees across her and tries to extend his hand. She will fall for him, very fast.

Some people told me, in my firts review, that this isn't a romantic drama... Well, maybe I agree. After the first momentes, I noticed that this drama is not about love. Its center is life, the life with others in a horrible world. Some type of relationship has to grown, specially when the script is pretty good and gives a solid support to the characters.

The chapter's extension makes little bit hard to watch it, and as viewer I acept it becase creates a extraordinarie atmosphere of anxiety and suffocation. Everything is going slowly, we flow into a pitiful scenario where our protagonists sufert while we only contemplate their reality fading in grey colors just in front our eyes.

My Ajusshi is alredy a sadly and bitter story. With two chapters I am in love.

I was anxiously awaiting the premiere of My…

I was anxiously awaiting the premiere of My Ahjusshi and I was very satisfied with the first chapter. Lee Seon-kyun is magnificent, as always, but IU totally surprised me because I know her for her cheesy roles and her performance here takes an impressive turn.

This will be an adult romance, so the choice of actors was the greatest success of the production. In addition, the range of colors and the dynamism of the camera give an incredible effect to the narrative. That's why the plot seems so dark, but extremely interesting.

I feel that the love relationships between the characters will not eclipse the deep nuance of realism that the drama has and I adore it. Like Misty, watching My Ahjusshi struck me because its protagonists are surrounded by an aura of despair, loneliness, rebellion and non-conformity to the circumstances of life.

Waiting for more.
